Master class: a frog from a plastic bottle

Plastic bottles are a fertile material for experiments in arts and crafts. They will be in every house in the right amount. In addition, plastic can easily be cut with ordinary scissors or a clerical knife, punched with an awl, needle, it is beautifully painted, glued to PVA or simply melted by a cigarette lighter. Well, such a recycling of plastic bottles is a noble cause for the benefit of the environment, since plastic is also famous for its durability.

This master class on working with plastic will be dedicated to one of the most famous heroines of Russian fairy tales - try to make a frog from a plastic bottle. And not simple, but the real "Princess".

A frog from a plastic bottle is one of the simplest figures you can do. What is needed for such a beauty? Take two two-liter plastic bottles of any color, as well as one bottle with a volume of 0.5 liters. Still need a clerical knife or scissors, some sand, glue, wire and an awl. And, of course, paint.

For starters, we cut off the bottoms from two-liter bottles at an altitude of about 10 centimeters. To ensure that our frog from the plastic bottle was stable, we pour sand into one of the bottoms - without it, the plastic will blow away even the weakest breeze. Now firmly insert the bottoms into each other with cut off sides until they stop. You can miss 0.5 centimeter on each side with glue for better fixation, but without it the frog will hold. At the next stage the frog from plastic bottles should acquire beautiful legs. Cut out the remains of bottles hind legs with fingers and the front - only the "hands". We attach the hind legs on the sides of the frog with an awl and wire. The front can be planted on the glue - for this use the notches of the bottom, there just will be two in front of them - than not the front legs?

Well, what a frog princess from a plastic bottle will do without a crown! We make it from a half-liter bottle - cut off its neck to the height, which will be the crown, cut out the edges with denticles. Gently cut the knife in the bottom, which is the head of a frog, a hole along the diameter of the crown of the crown, grease the neck with glue and insert it into the hole. You can make it regal-straight, or you can ruffle to the side with hooliganism - as your soul desires.

Now there is very little - take the acrylic colors and color our Princess. Draw the eyes, the mouth, we cover the crown with golden paint. In place of the mouth, you can make a slot with a knife - then from the remnants of plastic, you can also cut an arrow to match the fairy tale and insert it into your mouth. Such a frog from a plastic bottle will be an interesting solution for a private house instead of podnadoevshih all sculptures garden gnomes. She will find her place on an alpine hill, in a rock garden, on the shores of an artificial pond or just in the bushes on your site and will rejoice over her longevity, beauty and originality both adults and kids. Now frogs made of plastic bottles are no problem for you! Rejoice relatives!
