After the release of the movie rental critics immediately designated the film as a landmark event in film fantasy. It is possible to survive the android Bishop, toddler Newt and corporal Duane Hicks, together with Ripley they manage to return aboard the spacecraft by installing a bomb on the planetoid. But after them penetrates into space and the womb of monsters, wishing to avenge their lost brood. Losing in a fight with Ellen Ripley, the queen flies into outer space, and the crew members, wounded, but alive enter a state of hyperspace, sending the ship to Earth.

The third part of the franchise - "Alien 3" - directed by David Fincher, who preferred a non-frightening atmosphere, but an energetic act. The newborn immediately kills the queen, perceiving as Ripley's mother. A woman does not just destroy this creature, but when she estimates the scale of the tragedy for humanity, Ellen gets rid of the monster.
