After the liberation, Moon tried to find her family, but it turned out that they had moved long ago, and where it was unknown.

Back in New York, Cindy sets up to work as a reporter in one of the newspapers. Years spent in confinement left their mark on the character of the girl, and it is not easy for her to adapt to modern life. So, she is the only one in the office who writes all the information with a pen in a notebook. In addition, the girl is not so dependent on mobile and computer devices as modern people.

Struggling with villains under the mask of Silk, Cindy does not abandon attempts to find her relatives. Fate confronts her with various superheroes, some of them become enemies, others are allies. Gradually, she begins to cooperate with SHIELD, as they promise to help her in search of a family.

With the Spider-Man, Silk has a special relationship. First meeting with him at the door of the bunker, the girl immediately felt an irresistible desire to kiss him, which she did the next moment.

A short time the heroes met, but later Cindy herself broke off this relationship and began to try to keep away from him as far as possible. But it turned out that it was not easy to do, because, while fighting criminals, Silk faced her ex-boyfriend. In addition, Peter is the only one of her circle who really understood what she was feeling and tried to help her.
