Biography

Lavrov Oleg Alekseevich was born into an acting family in October 1948 in the city of Kimry (Tver region). His creative activity began from an early age. Being a schoolboy, he studied in a drama club, then in the Palace of Culture at a shoe factory.

He studied at the directing department at the Moscow Institute of Culture. After school Oleg served in the army. Then he worked in the Palace of Culture "40 years of October" in his homeland, then worked for about 5 years in the regional theater of drama in Moscow. At the age of 27, Lavrov Oleg Alekseevich returned to his hometown of Kimry, where he served as an actor in the theater of drama and comedy. In the early 90's he was promoted to chief director, and only 3 years later he became artistic director.

The actor at the age of 30 starred in an episodic role in a comedy film called "Cat in a Sack."

As a director, O. Lavrov became famous for staging "Cylinder", "Cherry Orchard", "Moliere". In St. Petersburg, the master's performances produced a furore. And the production of "Bloch" in its time was awarded the award for the best stylistic decision at the All-Russia Theater Festival, which was held in Vologda.

When Lavrov was 48 years old, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, and 11 years later, in June 2007, the President of the Russian Federation honored the actor with the honorary title of People's Artist of Russia.

At the moment, the People's Artist directs the theater and takes an active part in theatrical productions.

Just at a young age, Xenia married a businessman Sergei, married with whom were born two beautiful children - the boy Daniil and the girl Glasha. But after a while the alliance with Sergei Glinka disintegrated, and the young woman began to meet with the theater actor Dmitry Gotsdinerom.

The grandson of Oleg Lavrov - Daniel - dreams of filming a movie and asks the parents to remove him in a children's role. Mom is not against this desire of his son and is ready to help the child in the continuation of the 4th generation of the acting dynasty.
