History, objectives, structure
The University was founded in 1994 on the initiative of Professor Khachatur V. Khachaturyan, who proposed the creation of a higher educational institution for the training of professional diplomats. The main task of the Kiev International University is the preparation of the political, economic and scientific elite of Ukraine. Now 4800 people study at the university on different directions. The permanent staff consists of 190 highly qualified professors, and the lecture is often attended by practicing specialists in the field of jurisprudence, international relations, political science, etc. Lecturers work in the Ukrainian parliament, embassies and international companies.
Training is conducted at 20 departments. Entry rules
Ukrainians enter the university on the basis of the results of ZNO (necessary items can be found on the official website of the university), creative competitions or introductory conversation (if necessary). For admission to the magistracy it is necessary to pass an entrance examination, which tests knowledge of the subject of instruction and a foreign language.
Foreigners or stateless persons can enter the Kiev International University by the results of the entrance competition, having passed exams on certain subjects of the rector. Foreigners must have a certificate of completion of secondary school in their country. To the list of necessary documents, you must also attach a motivation letter, which plays an important role in the admission process. The cost of training for foreigners is the same as for citizens of Ukraine. Discounts and scholarships can be obtained by students arriving on the basis of certain international agreements and / or refugees.
Accommodation - price and conditions
The total area of dormitories of the Kiev International University is 20 thousand square meters. M. The hostels are located in three blocks: on Oksamytova Street, Lvivska Street and Verkhovyna Street. According to the student of the university, the living conditions are good. Each building is equipped with wireless Internet, washing machines, kitchen, necessary furniture, uninterrupted water supply and 24-hour security. College at the University

The study lasts from 3 to 4 years, depending on the direction. Good education in the college gives a guarantee of admission to the KMU under the reduced program (from the third year), which is undoubtedly a plus. Also in the college you can learn foreign languages at a high level, using modern technology. You can enter such a college after 9 or 11 classes, successfully passing the entrance exams.
Lyceum
The new offspring of the KMU - lyceum - offers students of grades 4-11 to develop their talents, relying on the main principles of the functioning of KMU. This is the study of languages by Khachaturyan Kh.V.'s author's program, individualization of studies, vocational training, development of the creative principle, work in teams, etc.
Lyceum is divided into specialized classes: international relations, philological, medical, technical, social and humanitarian, artistic. Lyceum students can participate in clubs (diplomatic, psychological, intellectual) and go to various clubs. Applicants say that the cost of training depends on the decision of the directorate. In addition, there is no guarantee of admission to KMU.
Kyiv International University is an elite institution, and not everyone can afford to study in it. But in exchange for a decent fee (although it is an order of magnitude smaller than in the same England and France or even Poland), students receive a diploma and knowledge that will be quoted on the European and world labor market.
