The future singer was born in 1978 in the city of Sverdlovsk. Since childhood, Julia Chicherina has shown an interest in music. Especially the girl loved to sing on the matinees in kindergarten. However, she did it too loudly, literally shouting all the children, and even did not get into the notes. Because of this, her mother had to blush for her daughter on every holiday.

In the children's choir Julia was not taken, stating that she had "no data". Therefore, for some time the girl was intensely engaged in drawing. However, interest in music has taken its toll, and Chicherina began to independently learn to play the guitar, as well as drums.

When it came time to choose a profession, Julia did not immediately decide to enter the department of pop vocal: she tried to get to the Faculty of Arts, but failed, and then studied for a year as a librarian. But for the eccentric Yulia, library work proved to be a rather boring occupation. She dropped out of the institute, prepared well and finally entered a music school.

Carier start

In 1997, the group "Chicherina" appeared, to which, in addition to Julia, there were such musicians as Alexander Bury, Azat Mukhametov and Alexander Aleksandrov. At the same time, Julia Chicherina (photo presented in the article) composed her first hit "Tu-lu-la." At first the band performed in small clubs and at rock festivals in Western Siberia. Then the time came for more decisive steps, and Chicherina sent a tape with her notes to the director of "Our Radio". The song was on the air. The group "Chicherina" in a moment became famous throughout Russia.

Soon the record company Real Records offers musicians a contract. They agree to its terms and move to Moscow in full force. The producer of their album, which was scheduled for release in 2000, is the leader of the rock band "Agatha Christie". So Yulia Chicherina started a new life.

Musical success

Julia Chicherina released her first album, as planned, in 2000. It was called "Dreams". To shoot the first two clips was invited little-known then in Russia director Timur Bekmambetov. Work on the video was successfully completed, and by the end of the same year, clips of "Tu-lu-la", as well as "Heat" appeared on the air of the channel "Muz-TV."

From that moment the Chicherin group entered a new stage of its development and went on a big tour around the country. The guys became regular participants of many music festivals, including the rock festival "Invasion".

In parallel with the recording of the new album, Julia Chicherina together with the group "Bi-2" released the absolute hit - the song "My Rock and Roll".

For 15 years of its existence, the group has issued 7 studio albums. Compositions of Julia Chicherina sound in popular domestic and foreign films. For example, "Tu-lu-la" became a soundtrack to the Russian action movie "Brother-2" and the Spanish melodrama "Room in Rome". And the song "Doctors" was sounded in the sensational film by Guy Germanika "Short Course of a Happy Life".

Debut in the cinema

Julia Chicherina, whose photo often falls on the pages of newspapers and magazines, several times starred in the movies.

For the first time Timur Bekmambetov invited her to her film. It was a historical picture of Gladiathrix. In it, Chicherina played the role of slave-gladiators of Deirdre.

According to the singer herself, her role was "crazy", because for the sake of filming the girl had to shave his head. Moreover, Chicherina managed not only to cope with her role, but also to record the soundtrack to the film. Then she appeared at the premiere of the film "Gladiathriks" together with her group.

A year later, Julia appeared in the series Alexander Buravsky "Ice Age". The film narrated about the activities of the special unit at the Moscow Office for Combating Banditry. In the film, stars such as Alexander Abdulov, Irina Rozanova, Maria Mironova and many others were involved. Julia Chicherina got the role of the singer Anyuta.

Recently, the singer often travels there, providing support to the local population in the form of humanitarian aid. In the summer Chicherina, for example, raised funds to support the Lugansk Zoo. And a little later she came up with the initiative to create a Lugansk rock festival for local bands.
