Information on how much alcohol can be imported into Russia
Returning from abroad, you always want to bring gifts or local delicacies to your relatives and friends. As you know, many European cities are famous for their collection wines, cognacs and beer of different varieties.
Many tourists want to bring home as much as possible a variety of alcoholic products, but not everyone knows how much alcohol can be imported into Russia. According to the Customs legislation of the Russian Federation, without payment of taxes and state duties, a person has the right to import into the territory of Russia up to 3 liters of any alcoholic products (except for ethyl alcohol).
Import of goods to Russia
List of products subject to mandatory declaration:
- If the total cost of imported products exceeds the limit of 65 thousand rubles or weight 35 kg.
- Money in rubles, if the amount in the equivalent of US dollars exceeds 10,000. Securities for the same amount are also subject to declaration.
- Monetary signs in any currency, the total amount of which in the equivalent of US dollars exceeds 3000.
Traveler's checks total value in the equivalent of US dollars, exceeding 10,000. - Precious stones and metals (exceptions are temporarily imported goods for exhibitions).
- Cultural values.
- State awards of the Russian Federation.
- Rare species of plants and animals, as well as products made from them.
- Weapons and ammunition.
- Alcohol production. How much alcohol can be imported into Russia, described above.
- Tobacco products, the norm for which exceeds 50 pieces of cigars, 10 packs of cigarettes (20 pieces per pack), 50 cigarillos, 250 grams of loose tobacco. If one type of tobacco product is imported, 100 cigars, 400 cigarettes, 500 grams of tobacco and 200 cigarillos are not taxed.
- Narcotic and psychotropic substances.
- Poisonous and strong substances.
- Radioelectronics and high-frequency devices.
- Any technical devices intended for secret reading of information.
- Materials that hold state secrets.
- Elements of the nuclear industry and radioactive substances.
- Any materials that can ignite a war.
- Chemicals.
- Military products.
- Means of transport.
- Unaccompanied baggage.
