The ski resort "Tsei" is located in a wonderful place. The climate here is alpine, characterized by fairly low temperatures and a significant amount of precipitation. In the gorge for the most part of winter lies dry sparkling crystalline snow, the thickness of which reaches 1.5 m. Moreover, as we move farther, deep into the gorge and above, the thickness of the cover increases (up to 3-4 meters).

Like the whole of North Ossetia, the ski resort "Tsei" has a comfortable climate for life. Practically all year round the whole region is pampered by amazingly warm weather. The winter temperature averages 5.2 degrees below zero Celsius. It is quite rare that there are severe frosts, especially in the Tseisko gorge. The winds are warm and dry.

Because of the great difference in the absolute heights of some sections of the gorge, a vertical zoning of the climate is created. For example, one day at the entrance to the Tseisko gorge (1300 m above sea level) there can be warm summer weather, while snow may fall on the peaks (more than 4000 m).
