First of all, of course, an interesting story about the life and rule of Suleiman the Magnificent, who managed to significantly expand the territory of the Ottoman Empire, adding to it a huge number of lands. Initially, it was planned to remove only three seasons, consisting of 100 series, but then it was decided to increase the number of seasons to four.

In fact, the multiseries film is a Turkish translation of the story of the famous Roksolana, who managed to break the habitual foundations of the Ottoman Sultanate. Initially, answering the question about what will end the "Magnificent Age", the creators claimed that the end of the series would come with the death of the main character.

The invaders kidnap a girl named Alexander from her hometown, killing all her relatives and friends, and then reselling her to the Ottomans as a slave. So she finds herself in the harem of Suleiman, who recently became the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. Realizing that she will not be able to return home, Alexandra decides to achieve the highest position in the Sultanate, namely, to become the wife of Suleiman, and then the Validide-Sultan.

Many fans, asking themselves what the "Magnificent Age" will end, are reviewing the beginning of the series, where Alexander, who decided to achieve everything, herself became a victim of love for Suleiman. The first season tells of the struggle between the Slav who received the name of Hurrem (bringing joy), and the third wife of Suleiman - Mahidevran, who did not want to give in to the sultan to her rival.

One can not but mention one more storyline. This is the struggle between Hürrem and Ibrahim Pasha, the closest friend of Suleiman I. There is a legend that Ibrahim was in love with Hurrem, but she could not reciprocate with him. According to historical data, Ibrahim Pasha was executed in 1534 by order of Sultan Suleiman. What exactly caused Kanuni to execute his best friend, no one can say, but after his execution the sultan felt acute loneliness for the rest of his life. The creators of the series, responding in 2011 to the question of what will end the "Magnificent Age", said that the serial Ibrahim Pasha will not be executed. Later they changed their own decision.
