  1. Make a paste if no PVA glue was found. Proportions for paste: 1 part of flour to 8 parts of water. To do this, heat the water and gradually begin to pour in the flour, stirring to get rid of the lumps. You should get a batter that needs to be allowed to cool before use. If you are making of starch, then pour it into an aluminum or enameled bowl and add water. Stir until thick. There add boiling water, continuing to stir. Value, as with flour, 1: 8. Later, you can add a little more boiling water to make the paste older. Strain.
  2. Pick up small newspaper pieces, about 2 by 5, but they do not need to be the same.
  3. Lubricate the form with oil, petroleum jelly or liquid soap. Apply the first layer, dipping the pieces into the water.
  4. Follow the next layers. Total of them will be about 7. The latter is made of white paper.
  5. Now the plate should dry completely.
  6. Gently remove it from the base with a pair of scissors or a knife.
  7. Align the edges.

On the plate you can draw anything and add with stones, beads, sequins and so on (do not glue it with a very liquid glue, so that there are no stains on the paper).

How to make a plate of paper with little or no glue? Materials:

  • Newspapers or paper.
  • PVA glue.
  • Scissors.
  • Sword or needle.
  • Form for the plate.

What do we have to do:

  1. Cut a newspaper or paper strips width of 10 centimeters, you can slightly less.
  2. Screw the strips into a skewer, fix the end with glue. Skewer to get and do the same with all the paper.
  3. To make the tubes longer, you need to drop the glue into the end of one and insert the other.
  4. You can paint the workpieces at this stage, or when the plate is ready.
  5. Now the process of weaving itself. It is necessary to take four tubes. Find their center and twist among themselves, as shown in the picture.
  6. Add two tubes on one side and three on the other.
  7. Take the tube from the side, where there are five, and start weaving, letting it pass under the others, then over. So in a circle.
  8. When the tube is finished, use the glue to lengthen it with the remaining blanks.
  9. Now we need to create a form. Take the prepared plate, put a load in it and place it on the base of the basket. The diameter of the already woven construction should be more by half a centimeter.
  10. Raise the tubes, placing them along the mold, and secure the position with an elastic band.
  11. The main tube to continue the weaving, each row must fit tightly to each other.
  12. Finish the weaving should be, bending the ends of the protruding tubes inside the rows.
  13. Now you can decorate the plate, if previously it was not done with the tubes.

Flying saucer

  1. Cut out an even square of paper.
