How to make a natural lip balm with your own hands

The skin on the lips is a very delicate area of our face, which needs daily careful care. Many do not see any difference at all, but, nevertheless, it exists. Hygienic lipstick provides a reliable protection of the lips from the harmful effects of various natural factors, while the action of the balm is directed to the treatment of the lips.

In ancient times, home cosmetics was very popular, with their hands made, in particular, lip balms. The only way to get this medicine. As a basis for the production of the first balms, balsamwood resin was used. It grew mainly in the countries of the Middle East and, probably, it was from this name that went.

Now, from the most varied balms, the shelves of cosmetics stores are breaking. Also they can often be found in the pharmacy. But it is much more interesting and pleasant to have a cosmetic balsam for your lips, cooked with your own hands. Apply a balm on the lips a couple of times a day, depending on how damaged the delicate skin. It is preferable to apply it before going to bed, so that during sleep, it has time to moisten and nourish the lips. In particular, it is important to do this, if your lips are very flaky. Also it is necessary to apply balm before leaving on the street, because the skin needs protection from wind, cold and sun.

So how to make a lip balm with your own hands? There are many different recipes based on natural ingredients, but some of them have become especially popular among women.

Healing lip balm from almond oil and wax

To prepare this wonderful remedy you will need a quarter cup of almond oil, half a teaspoon of honey, 13 grams of beeswax, a few drops of your favorite aromatic oil.

First, heat the almond oil on a water bath, then put the wax into it and mix it thoroughly. When the liquid becomes homogeneous, add honey and the selected aromatic oil. Once again, we mix everything and pour the mixture on small plastic jars, for example, from the cream, and put it in the refrigerator. The resulting mixture can be used throughout the year, provided that it is stored at a temperature not exceeding 10 ° C.

Another wonderful lip balm with your own hands can be made from a mixture of different oils and beeswax. It is simply irreplaceable with drying and cracking of the lips.

To prepare this nutritious moisturizing balm, you need to take a teaspoon of cocoa butter, 1.5 teaspoons of shea butter, a teaspoon of coconut and palm oil, half a teaspoon of beeswax, a teaspoon of honey and as much any vegetable oil, half a spoonful of grated Bitter chocolate, a few drops of your favorite aromatic oil.

We begin to make this lip balm with our own hands with melting cocoa butter with shea butter, coconut and palm oils and wax in a water bath. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, we add chocolate, honey and vegetable oil (olive oil is ideal, as it is rich in vitamin E). All carefully mix to a homogeneous consistency and remove the pan from the fire. Add aromatic oils to the mixture. Again, carefully knead and pour over small containers. Keep this nourishing balm in the refrigerator.

Vitaminizing and Nourishing Lip Balm

The recipe for balsam preparation includes a couple of teaspoons of beeswax, half a dessert spoon of olive oil, a half tablespoon of almond oil, vitamins A and E, half a teaspoon of honey.

Beeswax together with almond oil is melted in a water bath, periodically gently and gently stirring until a soft, thick, homogeneous consistency is obtained. Add the honey and olive oil to the mixture. Remove the pan from the fire and add some vitamins to the composition. All carefully knead, pour on the tanks and put in the refrigerator to cool. This composition is kept long enough.

Such natural cosmetics, cooked by hand - this is an excellent tool for a delicate skin of the lips.
