First step

So, how to make a basket of paper? At the first stage, approximately 50 strips of 30 cm in length and 4 cm in width should be cut. Then, each strip should be folded in half in width, the length should remain the same. Count 16 strips.

Second phase

At the second stage, proceed to the weave. Lay out 8 of the 16 selected strips horizontally and 8 vertically. Then slowly, gently begin to weave the bottom as shown in the picture. When it is ready, boldly, but carefully, take hold of the walls. Take a strip and weave it into the sides of the basket. So gradually weave all four sides.

The third stage

In the third stage, woven the last strip, bend and glue the protruding ends of the strips into the interior of the basket. Voila - turned out a pretty square basket!

Using super glue, glue 12 strips to the bottom, placing them in the sun. Then take one of the remaining strips free and weave them between those that are glued. Do this until the glued strips have a margin of approximately 2.5 cm in length. Then fold up the protruding parts of the stripes inside and properly glue it. The round basket is ready!
