Masquerade costumes for children, for example, "Bunny", "Princess" or "Butterfly" costume, strangely enough, are usually very expensive, despite the fact that there is very little material on them, and the quality often leaves much to be desired. In addition, parents are very upset by the fact that the child will wear an outfit, usually for a maximum of one or two holidays, and then he will be dusting for years in the trunk. The way out, however, is to do it yourself. Today we are sewing the "Butterfly" costume. A child in such a dress will be not only beautiful and satisfied, but also the most noticeable on the holiday, where most children dress up with snowflakes, bears, bunnies and princesses.

What will it take to work

It's very, very simple. It will take a usual dress of bright coloring (or simply svetlenkoe and pleasant), black tights, dark shoes - shoes or even Czechs. Well, you will need to make only antennae and wings of wire, transparent or translucent fabric, beads, rhinestones, satin ribbons. Still useful thread and needles.

Wings - the central and key element of the whole image

So, how to make a butterfly suit? Of course, you need to start with the wings. There are several options here. You can simply cut them out of colored cardboard, but these wings hold out until the middle of the celebration. Slightly better decorations, glued from several of its layers. The third option is to cut out a rigid base and tighten it with a cloth, decorating with tinsel, shines. But much better the "Butterfly" costume will look with wings from the wire frame, on which you need to stretch a translucent fabric (kapron, tulle or organza will do). On its surface you can easily embroider or simply draw beautiful symmetrical spots, rings, dots, curls and patterns, taking as an example some beautiful butterfly. The main thing is that the color scheme coincides with the chosen dress, otherwise the outfit will look not the best way. Finished wings around the edges pasted or trimmed with tinsel, rhinestones or ribbons and attach to the back of the dress. Antennae of our beauty

"Butterfly" - carnival costume, which can not do without antennae. They are made very simply, only cloth and delay are needed. First of the wire we make a ring with a diameter equal to the head of the baby and we attach to it the antennae made of the same material, which have thickening at the ends. Another option is to take a simple solid bezel and attach a mustache to it. Now we wash everything with a tape and attach it with thread. In principle, instead of fabric, the use of foil is allowed (but it is better not necessary).

Assembly

Suit "Butterfly" is ready. We put on the chosen dress, which can also be decorated with tinsel on the hem (if the child goes to New Year's matinee), we put on the mustache, we braid ourselves, we correct the wings and fly to celebrate. By the way, a dress at the waist can be decorated with a belt woven with satin ribbons or with the same tinsel. The child will look bright, smart, he likes to flit in such a suit.
