Due to its design (it has a flexible cantilever), this plinth does not leave any slots, and thanks to special accessories (external and internal corners, connecting elements) it is very easy to dock and mount in corners. Perhaps the only drawback of the plastic trim details is its artificiality and cheap appearance.

If the basis of concrete, the plinth is fixed with the help of dowels or wooden cheps, into which screws are screwed or nails are driven in. The distance between the fastening is left at 30-50 cm, depending on the curvature of the walls and floor. Begin fixing from the corner, and finish near the door frames.

How to fix plastic skirting boards?

Once again, we note that the plastic part is much easier to fasten than the wooden part. There are plinths with special clips for fastening. In this case, they simply click on the clip attached to the wall. In other models, the clips are not provided, and then these parts are fixed to the wall with screws and dowels in the wiring duct, which is then masked with a removable plastic strip. How to fix a plinth of plastic in the corners? For this purpose, there are special corners, external and internal, attached to this product, so it does not need to be adjusted and cut at the right angle. These parts are simply put on the plinth and fixed in the corners of the room. In the joints along the wall, special connecting elements are also provided, and ready-made plugs are put on open ends. When buying a plastic product, do not forget to purchase all the necessary additional elements for it. So, the question of how to fix the floor plinth from plastic, is solved very simply. To natural floors it is customary to select a wooden plinth, however, given that it is much more difficult to fasten it, in small rooms where there are few open walls, it is quite possible to use a plastic skirting suitable in color.
