The situation with wooden skirting boards is quite different. Caring with them abound. First, they have one color. Therefore, in order to somehow bring the shade of the skirting closer to the color of your flooring, you need to try hard, dealing with its toning and varnishing. Then all this magnificence needs to be drilled, because this is how the wooden skirting boards are fixed to the wall. Unfortunately, it does not include any clips or other additional elements. Therefore, the fixing of the plinth from the wood is carried out with the help of dowels and screws, which twist through it. The problem becomes global when it comes to telephone, television, computer and other cables, which in this case becomes very difficult to hide.

Plastic skirting, of course, differ in price. They will be much more expensive than wooden brothers, but the choice of most buyers is still obvious. On the other hand, wooden skirting boards, although they require some effort during installation, are environmentally friendly and natural.
