How to erase the pen and remove ink?

Ballpoint pens are an indispensable item of everyday use. In each house and office there are at least a few pens. But sometimes by accident or negligence, the ink is completely out of place. Well, who at least once in his life accidentally stained his hands, clothes or even furniture with ink? And what about mistakes and blots when writing? So how do you erase the pen? And can we completely get rid of the traces of ink? The answer is yes, you can remove the inscription.

How to erase the pen from paper?

What if you need to correct the error, delete the word or part of the text? Of course, you can try removing the handle with an eraser or a blade. But such methods, as a rule, leave behind obvious traces.

But there is another way, which will help to correct the error almost imperceptibly. So what to erase the pen? To do this you will need:

  • hydrogen peroxide;

  • A small amount of potassium permanganate;

  • 70% acetic acid.

First you need to prepare a special solution. In a teaspoon of acetic acid dissolve several crystals of potassium permanganate - after dissolution, you should get a liquid of purple.

Under the sheet where you need to display the inscription, lay a blank sheet of paper so as not to soil the following pages. Take the cotton swab, moisten it in the prepared solution and apply to the marks of the pen until the inscription disappears - this process can take you a few minutes.

After the procedure, a pink trace will remain on the paper. Do not get upset - you can eliminate this problem with hydrogen peroxide. Dampen the cotton swab in it and gently wipe the stain.

After the procedure, place a page with an inscription between two clean sheets and walk along it with an iron. Now your mistakes are corrected.

How to remove the handle from the skin?

Sometimes leather furniture upholstery, car seats or wardrobe items can completely accidentally get dirty with ink. It is possible to remove ink from the skin, and quite easily. Here are some very effective tools.

  • Apply an ordinary hand cream on the ink stain and leave it for three minutes. Now with a cotton swab neatly wipe off any ink leftovers.

  • Another simple way is to use scotch tape. Apply a thin strip of adhesive tape to the contamination site, strongly press it against the surface, and then abruptly tear off. If ink does not have time to completely absorb into the skin, then, most likely, you will be able to "tear off" most of the ink. And wipe the remainder with an elastic band.

  • Sufficiently effective means is liquid for removing varnish without acetone. Wet a cotton swab in it and lightly clean the contaminated surface. But remember that the liquid in no case should contain acetone, since it can discolor the skin.

And do not forget about the fact that special cleaning products are sold in shops that will help remove stains from the ballpoint pen.

How to erase the handle from the fabric?

Footprints from the handle, leaking ink on clothes - a fairly common problem. But do not immediately throw away your favorite wardrobe item, first try to remove it. To begin with, place a tissue under the cloth with ink - it will absorb excess liquid and protect it from spreading the stain.

If the stain is fresh, an effective remedy is a mixture of baking soda and ammonia. In a glass of warm water, dilute a teaspoon of soda and ammonia. With the prepared solution, treat the stain until the traces of ink disappear. Then rinse the cloth to remove the residues.

Can I erase the handle from the wallpaper?

Another urgent issue, especially for parents who live with young children, who simply adore creating masterpieces of copyright on the walls. It depends on the size of the spot, the material and the texture of the wallpaper. If the ink is stained with paper, you can try the method with potassium permanganate and vinegar.

If the wallpaper is washable, then try to clean them with warm water, a brush and any detergent.

But vinyl wallpaper is better not to touch at all. Of course, the stain can be rubbed off with alcohol. But there is too much probability that the surface of the wallpaper will deteriorate, and the stain will only fade.
