How to drain the site with your own hands. Construction of a drainage system

The most effective results of how to dry a site with your own hands are achieved only if there is a good street cuvette, a depth of at least 1 m, which will guarantee a spillway. Even on a flat relief, it can significantly suppress the head of groundwater and reduce their level.

Before draining a site with your own hands, you should assess the situation. For example, if the terrain has a pronounced bias in the street or in the direction of the site, it is necessary to dig ditches to drain the water, which will keep the flow and at the same time direct it to the right track. In the event that the slope is directed to the street, it is necessary to ensure the presence of a transverse ditch before the footfall of the house, which will delay the drainage. In addition to it, a longitudinal ditch is drilled that conducts water to a street cuvette.

If the site tilts to the other side (from the street), then the transverse ditch should be organized along the front side of the fence, longitudinal - to the garden. It must be borne in mind that the beds should be broken across the slope, otherwise nutrients will be washed from the soil.

Before draining a site by the method of gutters, it must be remembered that such measures help only with heavy precipitation and melting snow.

Dehydrating the site with your own hands (if it is level), you should provide along the fence a ditch 2-3 m long, 0.5 m wide and at least 1 m deep. The ground is filled with low-lying places. For a season in a ditch as much as possible densely store building garbage, cans, a fight of glass and other poorly utilized wastes. When the pit is filled to the lowest level of fertile soil, another similar ditch is dug out. The ground, raised from the new ditch, goes to fill the remaining part of the first ditch and to pour the lowlands. So on the perimeter of the site there is a drainage system.

It's easy to answer the question of how to dry a site with your own hands, if it is level and does not have sufficient drainage in a street ditch - it's hard to do. To ensure this, it is necessary to organize a drainage system with a slope of 2-3%. It should consist of separate drains, which are asbestos cement or pottery pipes (diameter 10-15 cm) and a maximum length of 20 meters.

For the laying of pipes, a trench is dug up to a depth of 1 meter with a slope to the catchment. On the bottom it is better to lay out the crushed clay and, ramming it, to form a tray. If pottery pipes are used, a gap of 15 mm is left between them, if asbestos cement is made from above, cuts of 1 cm in width and a third of the diameter in depth, the distance between them is 10-15 cm. The pipes are filled with large crushed rock (20-30 cm in Height) and ground, which is removed from the trench.

Consider how to drain the site with your own hands, if there is no way to ensure the availability of the necessary pipes. You can use other materials, for example, bricks, from which a tray with a section of 12 x 12 cm, or even a bundle of brushwood without leaves, is laid out. The main thing here is to know the basic information on how to drain the site in the country. After that make the drainage system easy.

It should also be noted that if the site is very much waterlogged, then for its dehumidification use a system supplemented with a water well, where a vibrating pump with automatic control is lowered, ensuring operability in the standby mode and excluding its frequent shutdown.
