An unpleasant look and smack gives an unclean dark film, which some novice cooks simply forget to scrape off the carcasses.

Defrosted squid is poured on 3-5 minutes of hot (not boiling) water. The water in the tank should be 3 times more than mollusks. If the water is too hot, the white meat will turn to an unpleasant purple color. After such a procedure, the dark peel is easily cleaned with hands or a knife. Boil the refined meat for no more than 3 minutes with rapid boiling of water. The longer the meat is cooked, the harder it will become. If, however, the squid is digested, they will need to cook for at least half an hour, so that they again become soft.

How to cook squid? There is no unequivocal answer to this question, since the shellfish is not only boiled, but also used for making soups, stew with vegetables, fried in batter or breadcrumbs. Some housewives bake stuffed with various products of squid carcasses. When preparing various dishes from this cephalopod mollusk, it should be remembered that larger carcasses must first be carefully discouraged. The longer they cook, the less nutrients they contain.

How to cook squid fillets, so that all family members (adults and children) like it? For this dish, you need thawed mollusk meat, a pair of celery stalks, a small bunch of parsley, salt. It is best to produce defrosting not in water, but in the air. Thawed carcasses are thoroughly washed with cold water. Of these, you must remove any remains of the intestines. Squid carcasses are put in hot water for 5 minutes. Then they are removed and the fillets are thoroughly cleaned from the dark film. Pour the water into the pan and bring it to a boil. In the container add celery and parsley, and then the squid fillets. The dish is cooked on high fire for 2-3 minutes. Ready meat is cooled and cut into strips. Another clue to the question of how to boil squid correctly, can be considered white. Readiness of meat can be determined by whitening it. Thanks to fragrant greens, squid will not have a sharp specific smell. Prepared in this way, meat is served with potatoes, rice or added to salads.
