How long to wait for the child to move?

When a new life is born, it is so difficult for a woman to wait until the child starts to move. The first barely perceptible pimples give the future mother a lot of emotions. At the same time it does not matter what kind of a kid is in the family, the woman will be immensely happy to feel both the first-born and the fifth youngster. Before the appearance of these tremors, the future mother could only hope that everything was all right with the baby. She could not even find out whether he was alive or growing up. Only a rare ultrasound shed light on what is happening in the uterus.

With the beginning of the first perturbations, the future mother calms down: she knows that even occasional tremors indicate that everything is in order with the baby. Of course, many people start dreaming about kicks almost immediately after their interesting position is confirmed. But do not rush things, because the time when the child starts to move, almost the same for all. When waiting for the firstborn, do not worry, if you do not feel anything until the 20th week. But with repeated pregnancies, you can feel the movement 10-20 days earlier.

A few decades ago, these terms were not discussed: it was believed that the first-born should first feel the baby by the end of the 5th obstetric month, at the 20th week. With the expectation of subsequent babies this event was expected 14 days earlier. The first sensations from the tremors served as the basis for the expected date, in which the baby should appear. By the day of the first stir, just added another 20 weeks. Currently, doctors no longer use this method, because every woman has different pregnancies - when the baby starts to move also individually. Many primiparous feel the baby even at 17 weeks. Some women, who already have repeated pregnancies, say that they felt the first pines already at the 13th week. It depends on the woman's constitution, on her sensitivity and thoroughness, with which she listens to all her sensations.

But the time when the pregnant woman will hear for the first time her baby does not coincide with when the baby starts to move. The first movement can be seen only on ultrasound. Even before the appearance of pronounced limbs, the developing nervous system of the baby is already working, and its body moves. At a period of 7 weeks, this is more like a muscle contraction, and with the appearance of well-defined pens and legs on the ultrasound, you can see how it moves them. But to feel the tremors is still impossible, the baby is too small.

If your pregnancy is approaching the equator, the day becomes closer when the baby starts moving. Of course, the first tremors are more like the work of the digestive system. Romantic people like to compare these feelings with the fluttering of butterflies in the stomach. A few weeks after the first observed movements, the tremors become clear, clear, and confusing them with something else is simply impossible.

Do not worry too much, if it is almost the middle of pregnancy, and you still have not felt the baby. Most likely, this event will happen from day to day. Knowing how much the child starts to move, and figuring out what these feelings are like, you can begin to listen to yourself more closely. Most often, future mothers talk about increasing the activity of the baby in the evening, so before going to bed, talk to your baby and, probably, the baby will lightly knock you back.
