Fetal development - the main stages

Human development begins with the prenatal period - so doctors call the time of the child's stay in the mother's body. From the moment of the fusion of the ovum with the spermatozoon and before the birth, development of the fetus in the womb passes certain stages that are characterized by different qualitative and quantitative indices. This period was the most mysterious for millions of years, but now with the help of modern technologies it was possible to obtain unique frames for the fusion of the paternal and maternal sex cells, and the further genesis became more understandable and obvious.

In the first trimester, fetal development in the womb is aimed at building the basic structural elements - tissues and organs. Out of just one cell, germs of the future circulatory, respiratory, excretory, bone system grow. And already on the twentieth day you can notice that in a still outwardly unlike a human child, an extension in a hollow tube is already beating. This is the heart. Therefore, those who think that an abortion of up to six weeks is not a murder of a live fetus, but only the extraction of biomass is wrongly considered. Such excuses are found by those who do not want to admit their mistake. In fact, the baby's heart begins to beat much earlier. After three months, the child already has a body length of about nine centimeters, an ultrasound examination can distinguish between the head, arms and legs. The development of the fetus during this period should not be subjected to any harmful effects, since intrauterine pathologies and deformities occur precisely in the first trimester. Even before pregnancy, and if it did not, then immediately after the news of pregnancy, a woman should stop smoking, take alcohol or drugs, some medications (here you should consult a doctor), avoid stress and other harmful influences.

If the development of the fetus is normal, then in the middle of the fourth month you can feel the movements of the child. If this does not happen, the doctors prescribe additional studies, but inexperienced mothers can for the first time miss this significant event by ignorance of sensations. In the future, when the baby grows up, the tremors will become more pronounced, and they can not be confused with anything.

Until the fourth month, the development of the fetus was qualitative, but now the quantitative changes predominate - the baby begins to gain weight rapidly and by the end of the fifth month it weighs about a kilogram. The tissues and organs continue to develop.

By the seventh month, the development of the fetus has new features - the baby begins to perceive external stimuli and gives them their answers. So, he hears the voice of his parents, feels touching the belly, stroking, turning on and off the light in the room. The child reacts to these changes in his own way - he can smile or frown, he can push his hands and legs to protest or fall asleep and calm down at the mother's voice. The child's organism is actively preparing for birth. If for some reason the child is born already on this date, with minimal support from medical personnel, he will survive.

In the eighth month the baby has a solid weight and appearance. The subcutaneous fat tissue is condensed, and now the blood vessels are not translucent - the baby has a healthy pink skin color. Smoothes wrinkles on the forehead, in the axillary and inguinal cavities. At this time, the baby becomes more clumsy, because the size of the uterus does not allow him to actively move. Usually, children take the head presentation on the eighth month, which is preserved until delivery.

Development of the fetus in the uterus ends in the full ninth month. By this time the child is fully ready for independent existence, therefore, under the influence of hormones, the uterus pushes it out, and a new stage in the life of a little man begins.
