"Tatra 815" - dump truck

"Tatra-815", a dumper of industrial importance, an effective carrier of bulk and loose goods, is produced by a car factory in the Czech city of Kopřivnice since 1983. The car replaced the outdated model "Tatra-813", which in its technical parameters did not match the road conditions of that time.

The car is indispensable in regions where the road infrastructure is not yet perfect enough and transportations are made in off-road conditions.

Versatility

The Tatra-815 dumper is not formally an all-terrain vehicle, but the vehicle's cross-country ratio goes far beyond the limits of the accepted specifications for similar trucks. The machine does not actually know what is off-road, it easily passes areas of any complexity. Currently, the car factory in Kopřivnice is preparing to produce a series of trucks of the brand "Tatra-815" of the road type, which will reduce the parameters of the all-terrain vehicle. In place of super-transmission, the machine will be given high speed qualities. Aerodynamic characteristics are worked out, without which it is impossible to move fast on the highway with full load. The Tatra lineup will soon be replenished with cruise-type vehicles and reliable long-distance cargo carriers.

Performance

Technical characteristics of "Tatra-815" are considered high enough for a car of this class. Go to the first place in the rating of the car is hampered by only one criterion - increased fuel consumption in recalculation for the distance traveled. The car burns fuel approximately 30 percent more than other similar models of German, Swedish or American production. In part, this can be justified by the specific conditions in which the machine has to operate, since Tatra trucks are traditionally used for the carriage of goods off-road and at low speed.
