How important is the energy consumption class of refrigerators

Despite the fact that electricity prices in the post-Soviet space are not as high as in Europe, more and more people are thinking about such an important characteristic as the energy consumption class when buying home appliances. This indicator is displayed in the form of a letter scale from A (highest class) to G (most "Gluttonous"), with the appropriate color match. So, classes A and B as economical ones are designated in green, middle C, D, E - yellow shades of different intensity, and most uneconomical F and G - red.

In recent years, not only buyers but also manufacturers have begun to pay more attention to this parameter. Especially this applies to equipment that works around the clock, for example, refrigerators. These units are included 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and work without holidays and weekends. Therefore, not even the biggest energy savings per hour for the year can be quite a decent figure. And thanks to the use of the most advanced technologies, this indicator was reduced at times. Appeared units that have indicators far below class A. Today you can meet the energy consumption class of refrigerators A +, A ++ and even A +++. To make it more clear, we will give the figures. On average, the refrigerator consumes 34-45 W / h, the A ++ unit is about 16 W / h, and G - 102 W / h. These are not minimum and not maximum values, but averaged. Power consumption actually depends on several parameters, among which the frequency of door opening, the number of loaded products, the temperature "overboard" and the dimensions of refrigerators. The aggregate of all factors gives the value of actual energy consumption.

The energy consumption class of refrigerators needs to be taken into account also because serious brands are engaged in this problem, which can afford to develop in this direction. Because there is a certain guarantee of high quality of the products. In addition, a high energy consumption class is characteristic for "elite" level technics, that is, by definition of quality and advanced. If you want this, then look for a device that has a high or very high energy consumption class. Refrigerators with such characteristics are not so few.

Stamps of refrigerators

Belarusian Atlantis (Atlant XM 6325-101, Atlant XM 4011-100, Atlant XM 6125-180) proved to be successful in the market. Do not lag behind, and very often overtake and aggregates from Samsung (Samsung RL-58 GQGIH, Samsung RB-29 FERNCSS, Samsung RS-7778 FHCSL). German refrigerators from Bosch (Bosch KGN39XI40, Bosch KIF42P60, Bosch KGE36AL40) have always been famous for their reliability and trouble-free operation, well, but about the German economy we all have heard a long time. Do not give up the position and LG (LG GA-B489 TGDF, LG GS-9167 AEJZ, LG GR-F499 BNKZ), they always find a home. There are adherents and at Hotpoint-Ariston, Whirpool, Ardo, Zanussi. All these aggregates have class A, A +, A ++ and A +++, quite a lot of different service functions.

It is worth noting that the production of equipment that has a low energy consumption class is prohibited in some countries of Europe. In addition to the fact that it is economically impractical, this also means irrational use of natural resources, which is quite large in the entire civilized world.

Proceeding from all the above, we conclude that the energy consumption class of refrigerators must be taken into account when choosing a new unit.
