The range of motorcycles "Honda" is quite diverse and wide. For many years of production, many motorcycle lines have become truly legendary in their classes. History of creation and promotion in the market

The Bros series was published in 1988. The development was headed by designer Toshiaki Kishi. Model Honda Bros is the second in the entire line of "Honda", made by technology Pro-Arm. The series included two modifications - with the engine at 400 and 650 "cubes".

Honda Bros 650 belongs to the class of neykedov, and this motorcycle is one of the first representatives in the class. You can confidently say that he was at the source. Initially, the Bros line was planned only for the domestic market in Japan. For America, this model was produced under the name Honda Hawk GT. Motor

Initially, the Honda Bros 650 motorcycle was equipped with a two-cylinder engine with a liquid cooling system. The carburettor was responsible for the food. Each cylinder had three valves.

During the entire production period, changes were made to the motor unit only once. As a result, the oil pipes began to pass through the engine, and not bypass, as it was before.

The bike has a 5-speed gearbox. The rear wheel is rotated by a chain drive.

Distinctive features of different versions

Do not be mistaken about the absolute identity of the Honda Hawk GT and Honda Bros 650. The technical specifications of both versions are similar, but there are a number of differences:

  • Most Hawk GT models were manufactured on steel frames, not aluminum ones, like Bros.
