Homeopathic preparation "Traumeel C"

Indications for use

So, the drug is prescribed for traumatizing bone and soft tissues, with degenerative and inflammatory processes (epicondylitis, tendovaganitis, stiloiditis). Traumel C is used for injuries to muscles, joints, periarticular tissues; Sprains, bruises, dislocations, fractures of bones, hemorrhages, edema; Concussion, hemophthalmia, varicose veins, hemorrhage into the retina, hemorrhoids.

The drug "Traumeel C" effectively and very quickly stops bleeding, eliminates swelling of tissues, improves the tone of blood vessels, reduces their permeability, eliminates pain syndrome, stabilizes blood counts. Forms of release

What are the forms of the drug? The drug "Traumeel S" is available in the form of tablets, ointments, drops and solution for injections. Tablets, ointments and drops are referred to as over-the-counter drugs, sold freely and allowed for independent use by patients.

Tablets (0.3g) are sold in packs of 50pcs. The tablet contains: 15 mg of Arnica, Hamamelis, Calendula, Millefolium; 30 mg Aconitum, Heparsulphuris, Mercuriussolubilis Hahnemani; 75 ml of Atropo belladonna; 24 mg of Chamomilla recutia, Symphytum; 6 mg Bellisperennis, Echnacea purpura, angustifolia; 3 mg of Hypericum.
In 100 ml of drops are contained: 5 ml of Arnica, Hamamelis, Calendula, Millefolium; 25 ml of Atropo belladonna; 8 ml Symphytum, Chamomilla recutia; 10 ml Aconitum, Hepar sulphuris, Mercuriussolubili Hahnemani; 2 ml Belis perennis, Echinacea purpura, angustifolia; 1 ml Hypericum. Drops of "Traumeel C" (alcohol solution 35%) are sold in 30 and 100 ml bottles.

The ampoule contains: 2.2 μl of Arnica, Millefolium, Calendula, Atropo belladonna, Symphytum, Chamomilla recutia; 1.3 μl Aconitium; 1.1 μl Belis perennis; 0.66 μl of Hypericium; 0.5 μl Echinacea purpura, angustifola; 0.22 μl of Hamamelius; 1.1 μl Mercuriussolubili Hahnemani; 2.2 μl of Hepari sulfuris. The solution for injections is released in ampoules containing 2.2 ml of the drug in packs of 100 and 5 pcs.

In 100 g of ointment contains: 1.5 g Arnica; 0.45 g of Hamamelius, Calendula; 0.09 g of Hypericium, Millefolium; 0.05 g Aconitium, Atropo belladonna; 0.04 g of Mercuriussolubili Hahnemani; 0.025 g of Heparsulphuris; 0.1 g Echinacea angustifola, Chamomilla recutia; Echinacea purpuria, 0.01g Bellis perennis, Symphytum. The base is hydrophilic ointment Salbe DAB10, preservative - ethanol (12.5%). Ointment is released in tubes of 50 g.

Mode of application

The drug provides regenerative, antiexudative, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulating, analgesic, venotonic, antihemorrhagic action. Since the agent "Traumeel C" is available in various dosage forms, its use in each case is determined by the attending physician.

So, pills take three times a day for 1 piece under the tongue (until completely dissolved); Drops take three times a day for 10 drops, and with strong swelling of the tissues - 30 drops.

Often prescribe a solution for injection "Traumeel C". Ampoules are used for 1-2 pcs. three times a week. In severe cases, the remedy can be pricked daily. Injections are done subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intradermally (to resorb scars), intravenously, near or inside the joint. The drug "Traumeel" in ampoules is prescribed in the most difficult and acute cases.

Ointment is applied to the damaged areas three times a day and rubs it until it is completely absorbed. If the condition improves, the application of the ointment can be performed every other day. At the end of the application of the drug, a dressing is recommended.

Contraindications for use

Contraindications include hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, therefore, in order to avoid allergic reactions, a doctor's consultation is mandatory before using the medication.

The use of this drug in large areas of the body is unacceptable. The use of the drug during lactation or pregnancy is allowed only on an individual basis.

Side effect

Side effects: arthralgia (pain in joints during injections), hypersalivation. In the event of increased salivation or skin allergic reactions, immediate withdrawal of this medication is required. Use of this drug does not exclude the use of other drugs.
