Our hero was born on February 17, 1986 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. By the horoscope - Aquarius. At the age of six, the boy and his family move to Zelenograd, and after elementary school parents give their son to the Academy of Choreography (MGAH) at the Bolshoi Theater. Then the future actor for two years looking for himself (as he will later say in an interview) - is engaged in the Protestant seminary. But later Gregory decides: his recognition is a movie. For some time Grigory Dobrygin attended classes in the studio of K. Serebrennikov (MHAT School Studio), but then leaves there and 4 years at GITIS (in the studio of O. Kudryashev). Later, Dobrygin returned to the same workshop to get a director's profession.

About Dobrygin really spoke in 2009, after the appearance on the screens of the superhero Russian film "Black Lightning". The film was directed by A. Voitinsky and D. Kiselev, and the well-known T. Bekmambetov was the producer. There, in the company of remarkable actors such as Juozas Budraitis, Valery Zolotukhin and others, Grigory Dobrygin, who won the main role, vividly and unexpectedly showed himself.

The plot of the picture is uncomplicated and somewhat reminiscent of the adventures of the Spider-Man. The most ordinary student Dima receives a gift from his father - an old car. As it turned out later, the car, equipped with a rocket engine, was a secret product of the defense industry of the USSR. Dima, who decided to make money with the help of the machine (to deliver flowers), the trouble once forced to look at the world in a different way and stand up for the protection of good. The picture received good reviews of the audience, and the young actor brought the first glory.

But really Dobrygin appreciated in 2010, after his shooting in the film "How I spent this summer" (director A. Popogrebsky). The result was the award for Best Actor "Silver Bear", which he received at the Berlinale-2010. The same prize was given to Dobrygin's partner in the film S. Puskepalis.

The film "How I Spent This Summer" was Dobrygin's acting debut, although he appeared on screens later "Black Lightning".
