"Heroes: Renaissance": actors and characters of the series

The actors of the series "Heroes: Renaissance" continue to tell a fascinating story about people with supernatural abilities, started in the original Tim Kring series. In this NBC channel project, he acts as executive producer. The thirteen-part mini-series was launched in September 2015 and caused mixed reactions from viewers eagerly awaiting the continuation of previous seasons.

Declaring the intention to release the continuation of the successful series "Heroes", the channel's leadership emphasized that the story line will be completely autonomous, although more detailed information about the characters was not received. It is known that a few days after the announcement, Robert Nepper, who played the role of the head of the Carnival Samuel Sullivan, voiced the desire to participate in the new project. He wanted to embody the same character, however, the answer became known only after the premiere. In the new series it is not.

In the summer, a few months before the premiere, there was information that viewers still see some familiar characters in the episodes "Heroes: Revival". The actors who played Noah Bennett (who is also Human with horn-rimmed glasses), Matt Parkman, Mike Sanders and other characters of the original series, will appear again on the screen. Unfortunately, the decision to do without Syler was made.

How beautiful is the "brave new world"

After Claire Bennet jumped from the top of the attraction and discovered to humans the existence of people with superpowers, it's been five years. During this time, the society has changed significantly: many stopped hiding and began to upload video with a demonstration of their capabilities on the Internet. There is a split between those who believe that new abilities are the next phase of evolution and those who are frankly afraid of such a force. The government of many countries passed laws on compulsory registration of "heroes". The collision of two fronts is imminent.

Plot and characters

Against this background, the main events of the series "Heroes: Revival" unfold. Actors depict characters with familiar or completely new abilities: jumping in time, reading thoughts, controlling fire. There are central figures embodying good and evil. As before, the negative character represents the head of a multimillion-dollar corporation planning grandiose changes and dominance. Her head Eric (Ria Kilstedt) recruits a girl with a unique gift of generating darkness, they are opposed by the union of several powerful heroes with different abilities.

Numerous turns, intrigues and multi-pass combinations, as one might expect, make up the lion's share of the plot of the series "Heroes: Revival". Actors familiar to the spectator for previous seasons appear in the traditional role: the restless explorer Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), the lord of electronics Mike Sanders (Noah Gray-Caby), the noble Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), the conspirator Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose). Also appear bloody "avengers" Luke and Johanna (Zachary Levy and Judith Sheconi), the lord of time and space Tommy (Robbie Kay), and many others. At the center of the narrative, Noah Bennett (Jack Coleman), who lost his daughter Claire, but found twin grandchildren.

Despite all the efforts of the creators, the audience received the series "Heroes: Renaissance" without much warmth. Actors and roles of some of them seem not strong enough, the motivation of the characters is superficial, and the plot is unfinished. In connection with unsatisfactory ratings, the continuation will not be lifted. So the episodes "Heroes: Revival" (whose actors are really inferior to the original series) will be the last series of the famous saga.
