4. Take the wrench and unscrew the screws that secure the tension rollers.

5. Using a screwdriver, dismantle the timing belt. Check the position of the marks on the shafts. If they have moved, they should be re-set.

Remove the component and replace it with a new one.

6. Now carefully, so that the marks do not go off again, install a new mechanism strap. Using the roller, the element should be tightened. Then check the position of the marks again.

7. Reassemble in the reverse order.

8. Now check the tension. It is recommended to rotate the crankshaft in a circle for several turns, after which again check the position of the marks.

9. The belt tension itself should be checked in the middle of the two rotating pulley disks. The belt should not bend more than 6 mm. If the element is over-stretched, you will hear a characteristic sound. This, in turn, will significantly affect its service life.
