Glushanovsky Alexey: biography, all books, features of creativity and feedback

Aleksei Alekseevich Glushanovsky is one of the most widely read Russian science fiction writers. The lack of a profile education does not prevent him from creating interesting worlds and plots.

Biography

Alexey Alekseevich was born in Yekaterinburg on February 20, 1981. In 1998 he entered the biological faculty (specialty - ecology) at Ural State University and successfully completed it in 2003. I still work for this specialty.

The young writer does not like fiction, although he writes in this genre. He goes fishing and hunting, holds a dog - a spaniel named Lord. Although in the graphs "about yourself" on various sites (for example, "Samizdat"), he self-critically calls himself lazy and sloven, it is difficult to believe in this, since he has more than one book. Aleksei Alekseevich Glushanovsky admits that he began to write his first book only in order to impress his beloved girl. The romantic story ended in a prosaic way: the girl later parted for a while, but the book was already released at that time. Many fans of fantastic prose now read it and then follow it.

Books

"Path of the demon" Alexei Glushanovsky among fans of fantasy is considered one of those series that is worth reading. The first book is called "Road to the Mages", it was released in 2007 by the publishing house "Alpha-book". It is in this publishing house that Alexei Glushanovsky is usually published. Books were issued in order every year. "The Wizard's Path" and "The Wizard's Path", the second and third books of the series, were released a year later by the same publishing house. The final book "The Path of the Demon" was published in 2009.

Tetralogy tells of a young man named Oleg, who came from our ordinary world to another, filled with sorcery and other races, for example, vampires, demons and wizards. The main character is fond of magic, this is the key to the transition to another world. There he becomes a half-demon and begins his journey. "The Sorcerer's Path" is the second book of the series, it tells how Oleg studies in the magic Academy, but does not intend to change his old habits at all, remaining "in each barrel with a gag." His considerable magical powers should protect him from trouble, but every time everything turns out the opposite.

In the third book ("The Path of the Sorcerer"), Oleg ends his first year and is transferred to the fire department. He decides to begin studying the bright magic of fire, but in addition life gives him other lessons: around the intrigues are woven in which one way or another have to participate.

Dark fantasy

The fourth book is very different from the others, written by Alexey Glushanovsky. "Path of the demon" - the book is gloomy, full of blood and cruelty, and it should not be considered separately from the cycle, as it gives the impression of excessive vampirism of the author. Nevertheless, when you read the tetralogy, you can completely follow those or other events, and then the reader becomes aware of the actions of the protagonist.

In the final book of tetralogy, written by Aleksey Glushanovsky, the demon Oleg helps elevate the ruler to the throne, but after that he himself is in danger: conspiracies are being built around him, assassins are sent to him, but, of course, only for the sake of "state necessity." The traitors did not take into account the abilities of their opponent and the fact that over time he ceased to be a simple cheerful student from another world and turned into a necromancer demon. He has vampires and lichi in his friends, and they do not want Oleg to go to the realm of the dead because of such nonsense as the disgrace of the ruler. The main character, having paid for his carelessness, is forced to literally get out of his own grave. After that, Oleg undertakes to restore justice and does not spare practically anyone.

Stories and novels

In addition to volumetric cycles, Alexey Glushanovsky wrote more than a dozen stories and stories. Some of them are related to the main books of the cycle, for example, the story "The Sword of the Emperor" is a prequel to the tetralogy "Path of the Demon." The author mentions that all stories related in one way or another to the heroes of his novels can be read separately from all other creativity. "These are completely finished works without continuing," he says.

With the work of Alexei Glushanovsky, including his stories and stories, you can see on the page of the site "Samizdat", where he uploads not only the finished works, but also various versions of the same work. For example, the story "Spider" is in two versions, and they were created at the request of publishers. On the same portal, you can ask the author questions, he often answers users in the comments. You can also look at his page in the "Laboratory of Fiction."

Other novels

Outside the cycles there is also the novel "The Birth of Magic: the Keeper of the World." This book talks about the Mayan prophecies and the sign for humanity in 2012. On our planet there are portals from other worlds through which the fairies come to us. The complete destruction of mankind can be prevented only by the mysterious bards, who somehow managed to agree with the faeries and stop their invasion. Bards become the only defenders of the Earth, but there are not many of them, and they are not only immortal, but they also suffer from their own forces. The main character of the novel is called Arthur. He, too, is a bard and has long approached the limit after which his brethren die, but for some reason Arthur is still alive. At some point in the world, the killing of bards is becoming more frequent and the hunt for the main character begins.

Alexei Glushanovsky wrote several works in co-authorship with colleagues. For example, the book The Smile of the Hussar (published by Alfa-book in 2009) was created together with Vlad Polyakov, and the collection Price of the Empire (Alfa-book, 2012) was written with Svetlana Ulasevich.

Winter fairy-tales

Another series of books by Alexei Glushanovsky - trilogy "Winter Tales." The first book is called "The Heart of the Blizzard". The publishing house "Alpha-book" released it in 2010. "Hope of wastelands" came out a year later, and the third, "The Abode of Burans," is still not finished.

In "Winter Tales" tells of Prince Rau - a talented commander of the snow elves, a people who are almost completely destroyed. Of course, the young prince wants to take revenge on the enemies, but the enemy's forces are too great. In this unequal battle can help a powerful amulet that allows you to open portals to other worlds. There Rau hopes to revive the former greatness of his people. Unfortunately, the amulet scattered all the prince's allies on different worlds, and he himself, weakened and wounded, throws himself on the modern earth. Rau faces an anthropogenic civilization.

This trilogy is also addressed to adolescents. It can be called a representative of combat fantasy, since the plot is full of gunfire. The share of humor is present, which makes the book a good entertaining literature.

Reviews

Alexei Glushanovsky can be attributed to the strong average of modern domestic fantasy. Yes, there are a lot of cliches and illogical turns in his books, some characters lack individuality, humor is peculiar, and in some books there is a significant share of sexual scenes. On the other hand, the author is working on himself and developing, which can be traced through the cycle "The Path of the Demon," where the third and fourth books differ significantly from the first two for the better.

For whom does Glushanovsky Alexey write? All books are interesting first of all to teenagers, after all works of this author are addressed to this audience. Fans of serious fantasy can read these books as easy literature at a time.

Conclusion

The best book from tetralogy, authored by Alexey Glushanovsky, is "The Path of the Sorcerer". So many readers say, although it is strongly criticized for the presence of cliches and too simple presentation. On the other hand, books are intended primarily for teenagers, and do not forget about the specifics of this age. The verdict of readers is unambiguous: Alexey Glushanovsky and all books are worthy within the limits of the audience. Do not treat them like a serious fantasy, otherwise the reader will be disappointed. For example, some compare the tetralogy "The Path of the Demon" with clips, bright and colorful, absorbed everything that the author liked in other books. All the pictures are slightly reworked, but in them everyone will learn the old ideas of such masters of the pen as Tolkien, Sapkovsky and Zelyazny.
