Geghard Musashi was born on August 1, 1985 in Iran to a family of ethnic Armenians. Initially, Geghard Musashi was engaged in judo and kickboxing, following in the footsteps of his elder brother. Already at the age of 16, young talent won the junior amateur boxing tournament. The first victory as a professional came in 2003 at the Open Team Mixfight Championships in Amsterdam.

Speaking at Dream tournaments, Geghard Musashi became a real star in the Land of the Rising Sun. His most striking performance was a fight with Tsuyoshi Kurihara, whom the naturalized Dutchman could knock out already 10 seconds after the start of the fight. This victory was the fastest in Musashi's career, which even after that was full of bright winnings, and many distinguished fighters.

In fact, almost all the fights in Japan ended for Geghard victorious, except for the battle with Akihiro Gono, in which the "Dream Catcher" lost the painful technique on his arm (lever of the elbow).

In 2008, the Armenian fighter Geghard Musashi Wins the prestigious Dream tournament in the middle weight category, defeating in the final fight of the famous Brazilian fighter Ronaldo Souza.
