Garden crafts from old unnecessary things

I would like to create an original garden plot without extra material costs? This is quite possible, because the villa environment is not so similar to the city environment, and among flowers, vegetable beds and fruit trees, garden crafts from old and unnecessary things will give them a "second life" and open from the most unusual side. In the garden landscape, the old sanitary equipment (sink-tulip, baths and even a toilet bowl), leaky car tires, rubber boots and galoshes, half-ruined furniture from the barn, leaky barrels, old ragged umbrellas and much more will fit into the garden landscape.

Most often, creative ideas are used to decorate flower gardens. Garden crafts in the form of original flower beds help not only to decorate an unusual flower garden, but also to use for planting flowers, which, of course, very adorn the site, the most unusual places and even a very small nook. Here are a few ideas for flower beds.

1. The old galosh, painted in bright colors and nailed to the wall of the house or veranda, will become an unusual cache for small annuals.

2. From a sawn along a barrel mounted on wooden goats, you will get a beautiful low flowerbed, into which compositions from brightly colored annuals and bulbous plants are also planted.

3. As flower vases, you can use large rubber boots if you pour in the ground and make holes in the sole for drainage of water. Such garden handicrafts for flowers are convenient in that they can easily be moved around the site, replaced in places, combined into different compositions.

4. A beautiful and very original flower garden is obtained from the old garden wheelbarrow. There's nothing to think about. It is enough to paint it in a bright color, pour in the earth and plant a composition of ornamental plants.

5. Very beautiful garden crafts with their own hands are obtained from automobile tires. The most common way of transforming them is the vase from the figuratively carved and turned out on the wrong side of the tire. But you can do otherwise. For example, a beautiful and functional hedge or partition separating the garden into zones will be obtained from tires placed on each other in staggered order. In each pour the earth and plant climbing plants interspersed with stunted flowers. When plants grow, the tires will completely cover with a bright floral decor and form a high green hedge. True, it requires a large amount of building material.

6. Of the tires also make comfortable garden furniture. Four tires, laid on top of each other, will serve as an excellent base for the table, and the table top is made of wood or glass. To this table, a good addition will be a chair, also made of tires. Such garden crafts are performed as follows. Three tires are stacked on top of each other, the upper one is shifted and another one is attached to it from the side, with its end facing down to the one below. This will be the back of the chair. Tires are connected with each other by self-tapping screws. Now the seat and back are tightly filled with foam rubber, and the top is covered with thick polyethylene, fixing it with a furniture stapler. On the chairs you need to sew covers of easily washable fabric, artificial leather or dermatine. Such furniture will last long even in the open air.

7. Beautiful crafts in the garden area are obtained from the old large umbrella. First, from it it is possible to make an original flower garden, if to open the umbrella, turned upside down, to pour the earth and plant flowers. Secondly, from the umbrella is obtained a very original figure of a swan for decorating the garden. The bent handle will be its neck, and the slightly opened dome - folded wings. The umbrella is wrapped around the handle, cut into strips by black or white plastic bags, connecting them with PVA glue. Form the head and beak, inserting under the polyethylene pieces of foam rubber or cloth, swirled roller. Also wrap the film and the half-open dome, outside and inside. A ready garden figure is stuck in the ground near the pond or on the flowerbed.
