Penetration

The first thing you need to know the newcomers in the world of "Warcraft" is how to get to the Fortress of the Dark Fang. In times before the Cataclysm there was a den of Worgen, but they were all exterminated, and their place was occupied by evil spirits. This dungeon in the original version is one of the first, which will face the player.

In order to penetrate the CPC, you need at least the 10th level. It is up to you to decide whether to do this. On the one hand, you will be of little use because of the low level of your weapons, on the other hand, if there is a group ready to drag you through the dungeon, this can become a good farm.

In addition, there is a small feature. Despite the fact that you can go inside with the 10th level of development, you can use automatic selection in dungeon only from the 16th. And things there are falling on the characters of the 16th lvl.

Location

If you still decide to go to this dungeon until the moment when you will be able to use the selection, you will have to look for an entrance to the Fortress of the Dark Fang yourself.

Also, you will need classes that can interrupt castes - preferably 2 pieces, not including heals. They will already have something to do.

A fat tank is another prerequisite. Some monsters beat very painfully, and the called "add-ons" on some bosses will easily send to the forefathers the whole group.

First fight

We have already mentioned that the dungeon has undergone serious changes. Instead of the usual worgen players, we will be waited for by all types and colors, and the old inhabitants now also serve as a guard in the form of ghosts.

So, you are in the Fortress of the Dark Fang. The entrance will be immediately under the protection of the boss - Baron Ashbury. We will not list all his abilities, but simply make up a short list of recommendations for dealing with them.

The battle begins. The whole group should stand up "in the boss" or at least not run away, as the healer must have time to get to everyone, and mass healing will come in handy.

Let's start with the most unpleasant feature - aura. During the entire fight, the group will have a debuff, increasing the damage from the boss's spells. It could be said that with a hand-held tank this is not a problem, but here comes the next thing.

At 20% health Ashbury reincarnates and takes a new form. He stops causing direct damage to the tank or other characters, but once a second begins to give a massive spell on everyone. At this stage it will be necessary to quickly finish it.

But as long as you put your health down to 20%, it will take quite a while, and the battle will be very difficult. In addition to autoattack on the tank, the Baron will periodically use a combination of punches:

  1. Pain and suffering. The boss concentrates on one opponent and begins to deal him damage every 0.5 seconds, growing exponentially. Here you need to focus the ally, orienting yourself to the debuff.
  2. Immediately after this, the "self-chill" cast begins. 25% of baron's health is restored. It must be urgently knocked down.

A mass combination is also used.

  1. Strangulation reduces the health of all allies to 1.
  2. After that, a massive heal begins. He treats everyone around, including Ashbury himself, at 10% per second. It is necessary to shoot down at the right moment, so that the heal has time to restore all.

After defeating this opponent, you can go to the WoW dungeon, "Dark Fang Fortress." The entrance will be opened.

Simplicity is the key to success

When you reach the next boss, you will be surprised how simple that is, compared to the previous one. Baron Silverlen has only two abilities, and those are very funny.

Periodically, a random member of the group hangs a debuff, dealing damage and reducing incoming healing by 75%. It is necessary to remove the debuff and steal the party member.

After every 25% of lost health, the boss calls for an assistant. The first two can be captured simply by mass strikes. But the latter is too often "hiding in the shadows," so just spit on it and under all possible buffs drain the boss, after which the fight will end.

Third step

As you can see, in "VoB" "The Fortress of the Dark Fang" is very versatile both in complexity and tactics. The third boss is the second most powerful and complex opponent in the CTC after Ashbury. The commander of Ruchedol has only four abilities, but apart from them, he also regularly calls on two assistants, however, about them separately.

Immediately at the beginning of the battle, the entire group is hung with a non-removable curse, which takes up to 5% of maximum health every three seconds. Heal must be able to compensate, and most importantly, do not sink in mana.

Periodically, Rucheidol defiles the earth around him, slowing the characters on it by 50%. This can be a problem with the called "add-ons" and the wrong arrangement of the group.

At a certain interval, the boss deals increased damage and accumulates a charge of evil spirits. When its number becomes three, Rucheidol beats in front of him in the cone with a breath, dealing damage every half a second.

The tactic is quite simple. At the beginning of the battle, the tank takes the boss to the stairs leading down, and turns his back to the group. When the mobs go up the stairs, the tank must immediately "hang" on them. As they hit hard enough, the party should immediately switch to them and beat the first officer, as he can get the boss out of the way. When the commander's "breathing" begins, it is better for the tank to move aside so that the heal does not sink in mana.

Cold shackles

From now on, you can breathe freely. The Fortress of Dark Fang will no longer give you any unpleasant surprises. All that is left for you is to defeat a couple of strong opponents, but from this point on, the wipe group is very difficult to catch.

Making your way to the next boss - Lord Valden - get ready to run a lot to keep warm. With regard to tactics, nothing special or supernatural can not wait.

When appearing on the ground "puddles" immediately run out of them. This rule applies to 99% of opponents in the world of "Warcraft".

When Valden starts spraying the poison, start moving and do not stop until you become a normal color. This will reduce the damage done by the spell.

At 20% health, the boss will commit a suicidal act, increasing the chance of critical strike of your group by 100%. After this, the battle will end almost instantly.
