Spin Tires - System Requirements

Unfortunately, for today computer games, which belong to the genre of racing simulators, are mostly similar to each other. New projects offer more routes, car models, improvements for them - and nothing special. Only some developers risk and take on something unusual, that is, they take a risk to please users.

The fact is that releasing another racing simulator, created in the image and likeness of some extremely popular project - it's a fairly simple and reliable way. Guaranteed the game will be buyers, fame, because the mass culture operates exactly this way. However, if you release something unusual, gamers can not accept it, even if the project is made at the highest level. It was this fear that haunted all those who waited for the release of the game Spin Tires - the system requirements for it were announced long ago, but the release was constantly postponed. But what happened in the end? Simulator racing on heavy trucks with beautiful physics, which is as close to reality - and, of course, he has his fans. The project was a success, but it was a little outdated by the time it was released - the fact is that it was first talked about in 2008, and it did not appear until 2014. How did this affect the system requirements?

operating system

Most of the computer games that came out in 2014, no longer supported Windows XP, and some by the end of the above-mentioned year refused even to support Windows Vista. What about Spin Tires? System requirements, of course, are much softer than any other project released at the same time. The fact is that in 2008 XP was still one of the most popular versions of Windows, so the developers initially created the game for this system. Then added support for Vista, as well as the seventh and eighth versions of "Windows." As a result, it turned out that the modern game can be run without any problems on older versions of the OS, which surprises many, but nobody gets frustrated - even the owner of the old operating system can play Spin Tires, the system requirements allow it.

CPU

In the era of quad-core and six-core processors, gamers naturally expected something similar from Spin Tires. System requirements of modern projects already almost never provide for dual-core processors, so no one expected anything unusual. But, again, it is worth remembering that the project was developed since 2008, so do not be too surprised when you see that you can run this game even on a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz - now no one even uses them. But for a better experience of the game you will need a more powerful processor, because even in the recommended requirements there are no four cores, so that the owners of weak machines can rejoice and boldly install this game.

Naturally, when new items require extremely incredible power from your computer, there's nothing to be done - you have to get used to it. Therefore, the system requirements of the game Spin Tires can surprise many.

RAM

In the game Spin Tires, the minimum system requirements for any of the items look as if you are back again five years ago. In the case of RAM, you need only 512 megabytes to run the game at minimum settings. In most modern computer games, 512 megabytes is a value that is not used even for video cards.

Accordingly, two gigabytes of RAM that you will need for a comfortable game in Spin Tires is not a problem for modern PCs, which in most cases are equipped with at least such amount of RAM. Therefore, the recommended system requirements for the game Spin Tires can not frighten absolutely anyone - modern projects in this column usually have six to eight gigabytes.

Video card

Given the fact that modern computer games require at least 2 GB of video memory, the requirements for Spin Tires look at least ridiculous. The fact is that for minimal settings you will have enough 128 megabytes of video memory, and for maximum ones - twice as much, that is, 256 megabytes.

Thus, a relatively recently released simulator against the backdrop of the giants looks more than modest - and the thing is that the developers are too slow with the release, and in 2014 a game appeared that was to appear five years ago.
