Forget about household detergents, replace them with essential oils

You never thought that using household detergents containing chemicals that kill microbes, make windows, furniture, dishes, sinks, toilets and floors sparkling, we do more harm than good. After all, in fact, we ourselves spray and apply to the surface of space, which we call our house, toxins.

Despite the fact that many commercial cleaners disinfect and clean our homes, clothes and bed linens, they poison our water and the air we breathe. But this does not mean that you should refuse cleaning, cleaning and washing. There are several alternatives to detergents that can be used without harm to your home, health and the environment. All of them include aromatic oils, which, as is known, have a beneficial effect on brain function and contribute to the improvement of the body. Therefore, using them instead of commercial detergents, you get an additional bonus.

Cleaning floors with essential oil of lemon

To prepare a mixture for cleaning floor coverings, pour 1 liter of hot water into a wide vessel. Then add from 2 to 4 st. Spoonfuls of Castilian soap along with 10 drops of lemon essential oil and mix well.

Cleaning the toilet with tea tree essential oil

Pour 2 teaspoons of essential oil of tea tree into a bottle with a sprayer, and then 2 cups of water. Shake well to form a mixture, and then spray inside the rim of the toilet bowl and leave for half an hour. After this time, you can start cleaning.

Cleaning windows with essential oil of lavender

Want to get rid of dirt and even drive away flies? Mix 2 ml of water with 10 drops of lavender essential oil in a bottle with a spray, then apply the mixture on the window and wipe.

Cleaning utensils with mandarin and lemon essential oils

This is an excellent alternative to industrial dishwasher detergents. In a bowl, mix 2 teaspoons of tangerine and lemon oil with 0.5 cups of kosher salt and 0.5 cups of white vinegar, as well as 2 cups of borax (sodium borate) and 2 cups of washing soda (sodium carbonate). Pour the resulting mixture into the ice tray cells. Allow to dry for 24-48 hours, then remove from the tray and store in an airtight container. For one cycle of washing it is necessary to use only one such "pill".

Polishing furniture with essential oils of lemon, lemongrass and sandalwood

Combine in a spray 118 ml of jojoba oil with 12 drops of lemon essential oil, 8 drops of sandalwood essential oil and 4 drops of Lemongrass essential oil. Beat the mixture and apply to a cloth to wipe the wooden surfaces.

Universal cleanser with essential oils of cedar and muscatine sage

In a bottle with a spray, mix 0.5 glasses of witch hazel with 1 glass of water and 4 tablespoons of Castil soap. Add 15 drops of essential oil of sage and 10 drops of cedar essential oil to the mixture and whisk all the ingredients together.

Washing clothes with lavender and lemon essential oils

Rub on a grater a bar of Castilian soap without flavors. In a bowl, mix soap, 2 cups of borax and washing soda, 3 teaspoons of lavender essential oil, 1 teaspoon of lemon to form a wet powder. Store in an airtight container and use up to ¼ cup with each regular load of laundry.
