Flushing the injector is a simple task that requires constant attention

Injectors are required for metered injection of fuel into the engine's cylinders. They are equipped with valves that spray it in the smallest phase, so their condition is very important. It affects the state of the engine as a whole, which is why the clogged and clogged equipment is unsuitable for operation. Regular flushing of the injector is a necessity that must be strictly followed.

The main quality indicators consist in the tightness of the injector, its throughput in operating condition and the magnitude of the spraying torch of the fuel liquid. When injected into the injector, the fuel must mix with the air to obtain the greatest uniformity. Intensive mixing gives the mixture the ability to immediately flare up in the cylinder and provide energy that can provide the force of torque.

However, the problem lies in the fact that in the process of operation, a deposit is accumulated and deposited on the injector housing or next to its locking device, which breaks the tightness, and as a result, even after stopping the engine, fuel leakage through the unsealed injector valves occurs. The only way out of this situation is to flush the injector, otherwise the engine will run badly even in a warm state.

Dirty nozzles injectors reduce its performance. The mixture entering the cylinder does not burn completely and when the gas pedal is suddenly pushed, it forms strong claps, and much more fuel is consumed during the journey than is necessary. That's why even at a time when there are no significant signs of contamination of the injector, there is still an increase in fuel consumption. This means that it is necessary to flush the injector, because in the oxygen-depleted mixture the sensors record a discrepancy to the norm. The computer system understands this as a lack of fuel and sets a program to increase its consumption.

The cause of clogging injectors is usually gasoline. In it there are always small suspended substances, though imperceptible in appearance, but quickly settling on mesh filters. The smallest of them reach the nozzle of the injector and there under the influence of high temperature they turn into a deposit. The petrol pump pushes the new portion of fuel with force, and new particles of foreign impurities penetrate into the nozzle, increasing the amount of carbon deposits.

With minor impurities, one of the additives offered by the market can be used. Additives are used as an injector cleaner. They are recommended for use for preventive purposes, for example, during a long journey by car. In order to flush the injector as little as possible, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the fuel to be filled, do not forget to clean the filters in the gasoline pump and the gasoline tank of accumulated precipitation.

Modern maintenance stations are equipped with stands, with which you can very quickly and accurately find out the condition of the injectors and, if necessary, immediately contact the specialists with a request to clean them. But our domestic motorists are almost all masters of all trades and therefore it is preferable for them to clean the injector with their own hands than a regular visit to the car-care center.
