The EEG of the brain in children does not differ from a similar procedure in adults. The doctor will ask the patient to sit comfortably in the chair and not move after the start of recording. In addition to this research, there is also an MRI and ultrasound in the doctors' arsenal, an X-ray study of the cranium. But they are used for slightly different purposes than the cerebral encephalogram, and do not give the information that can be obtained with the help of EEG. But the whole complex may be required, especially if the problem is rather complicated, and doctors are not sure of the diagnosis. But do not worry - the EEG of the brain is absolutely harmless for any age and can be carried out as often as you want.
