The drug "Adranol" is included in the category of vasoconstrictors for topical application for children. The medicine is in the form of a drop in the nose. Active components: trimazoline chloride, phenylephrine chloride.

After application locally, the active substances are not absorbed, which causes a low concentration of the drug "Adranol" in the blood. Trimazoline and phenylephrine have vasoconstrictive action and adrenomimetic activity. The first is able to stimulate alpha 1 and alpha 2, and the second alpha 1-adrenergic receptors of the nasal mucosa. This provokes constriction in the blood vessels, reduces the flow of venous sinuses. Thus, the hyperemia and swelling of the nasal mucosa are eliminated, the volume of the secret secretion is reduced, the patency is restored in the nasal passages, breathing (nasal) is facilitated.

Assign a remedy for sinusitis, rhinitis (allergic, infectious nature). The drug "Adranol" is recommended before surgical manipulations and diagnostic procedures as an auxiliary aid, helping to remove edema.
