Drawing in the preparatory group: topics, lecture notes

In the kindergarten, children are taught the most important and basic things that will later be useful to them in life. Naturally, classes are somewhat different from school, because kids perceive everything differently - through games. Drawing in the preparatory group is that very special form of training.

Family on a walk

The goal of the lesson is to teach children to distinguish between the ratios of magnitude: an adult is greater than a child. An additional task is to draw a contour with a simple pencil and fill it with color. Drawing in the preparatory group is no longer as simple as in the initial group, so the goals are more "global". What will be required:

  1. Colour pencils.
  2. Eraser.
  3. Simple pencils.
  4. Sheets of paper.

The teacher first on himself and one of the children shows the same ratio of growth, which is required to be depicted. In addition, you need to tell us about what people usually start to draw with. The teacher should remind the children that it is better to draw the fruit first from the contour and shape, then paint it with colored paints or pencils.

Complicating the task

To make the lesson more difficult, you can ask the theme "Plate with fruit". In this case, the children will need to correctly correlate the size of the image. The educator should be reminded that the orange is more mandarin, and the apple differs in shape from the pear, that the banana is oblong, and the grapes grow in clusters. As a visual aid you can use real fruits or their models. Drawing in the preparatory group can be not only pencils, but also paints. Therefore, the kids need to explain that each of the elements of the fruit plate should dry out, otherwise the colors will mix, the pattern will not be as clear and bright as one would like.

Autumn as a theme for creativity

Since the autumn theme is one of the first themes for drawing, after all the "academic" year in the kindergarten and the school begins with it, it is necessary to ask the children several different tasks at once, distributing them to several lessons of fine art. Thus, it is possible to teach children several important things at once.

Theme: autumn forest

Drawing in the preparatory group (autumn as a theme for creativity) can begin with just such a simple theme as the forest. You need to ask the kids to picture what they saw or could see in this time period. As an example, you can give illustrations of their books or read a fairy tale / story. Kids themselves decide what to draw: twigs, a large tree, squirrels, bunnies or other forest animals. It is noteworthy that when describing the autumn forest, such questions can be useful:

  1. What color do the trees have in autumn?
  2. What do animals do in the forest at this time?
  3. What is leaf fall?
  4. What do maple leaves look like?
  5. How do rowan berries look?
  6. What color are the Christmas trees and pines in the fall?
  7. What happens in the forest at this time of year?

Topic: mushrooms

The biggest kids in kindergarten usually already know that it is in the fall that mushrooms are gathered in the forest. Drawing in the preparatory group can be devoted to this topic. Questions that will help kids navigate for classes:

  1. What kind of fungus grows under the aspen?
  2. What kind of fungus grows under the birch?
  3. The most "main" mushroom in the forest?
  4. What color is the fly agaric?
  5. Is it possible to collect grebes?
  6. Than cut mushrooms?
  7. Are there mushrooms "chanterelles" or are they animals?

In parallel, you need to tell and clearly illustrate what is at stake. Including the way the mushrooms look. Drawing in the preparatory group on this topic can begin with the story that it is better to depict a hat first, then a leg and then paint over the picture with paints or pencils.

Topic: animals

With this theme will be somewhat more complicated. Firstly, because the drawing of animals in the preparatory group is not given to every child at once. Secondly, you need to be able to correctly set the topic. There are a lot of different animals. Therefore, conditionally, it is possible to divide all occupations into several sub-topics:

  1. African fauna (elephants, lions, tigers, rhinoceroses and others).
  2. Forest animals (bears, squirrels, wolves, hares and others).
  3. Underwater animals.
  4. Pets.
  5. Northern animals.

Each topic should be illustrated, clearly displayed. This is how the horizon of children develops, and there is something to fantasize about. About each described animal, you can tell a short story to not just cause, but also to support the interest of the baby. That's why this is one of the most difficult topics, if we take as a whole the drawing in the preparatory group. Autumn, by the way, can also closely intertwine with animals. For example, you can tell how the forest animals are preparing for the winter, that they collect stocks during this period, what they eat, how they change their fur coats and why. It turns out at once a double lesson: both drawing, and the surrounding world.

What topics can be asked

There are a number of classes that do not change: autumn, winter, summer, spring, space, holidays. All of them often act as themes for creativity, since they are closely connected with the surrounding world. But there are others, no less important. So, for example, drawing (preparatory group), the summaries of classes to which are compiled by educators independently, can be devoted to:

  • Family;
  • Transport;
  • Rest;
  • Dreams;
  • Free topic;
  • Fairy tales;
  • Favorite characters.

It is important to develop the imagination of children, to stimulate them to mental work, to maintain their interest. And, of course, teach them to put their hands in the classroom. On this depends how the children eventually write in the classroom. Drawing themes in the preparatory group may be different, but it is important to correctly set them. For example, in a game form: first a fairy tale or a mystery about the future theme, and then the fine art itself. Correctly constructed occupation allows not only the most capricious and restless baby to keep in place, but also to develop thinking. Drawing in the preparatory group carries several important functions: development of imagination, cognition of the surrounding world, creation of one's own opinion, correct statement of the hand, development of perseverance and patience. All this at school is useful for children, since it will be easier to learn something more deeply than to perceive information from scratch. Parents are required to support their children's interest in creativity, engage with them at home, tell them something new about the topic of interest. And, of course, answering a lot of questions patiently and honestly. If the child constantly receives new information about what is interesting to him, then it will be easier for him to study at school, it is easier to remember even what is not too important for him. That's why drawing is the simplest and most accessible form of training in the preparatory group.
