Discourse About Copywriting

For me, copywriting is a buzz. I do not drink alcohol and drugs - I, like that Ukrainian from fat, are dragged from my work. Why should a future customer know this? It's very simple. Think about the difference between the tortured text written by the copywriter with one dream of salary, from work done with the soul, with inspiration, with flying ...

I know that other copywriters, for example, do not like SEO-texts. And I like SEO, imagine, and I do not see anything shameful in it. For me, SEO-copywriting - as a kind of rebus, where you need to be able not only to write, but also to count, or rather - to calculate. It's hard to believe, but at school I loved algebra as much as literature. So SEO-copywriting is for me the same fascinating algebraic task, where it is important to imagine the algorithm of the solution in advance and then simply "paint it".

For example, a trivial task for SEO-copywriting:

  • Given: 20 key words, of which 10 are phrases.
  • Find: the optimal location of them in the text, avoiding "crowding" and "spam."


But it's enough about SEO-copywriting, or it might give the impression that I'm nothing more interesting. Quite the opposite, I am happy to work on a variety of creatives, I create "selling texts", whether they are not right, and I am engaged in intellectual design (this is not copywriting, but rather, creating - the concept of the company is being created, including its mission, etc.) .

However, most of all in the world I like normal, human texts. Where the sales company does not puff, pathetically inflating cheeks or pretending to be some kind of mechanized robot consultant, but honestly and sensibly tells about himself, about his product and about his advantages. I like it when my texts make the seller and the buyer closer, and do not place market barricades on different sides.

As for quality ... it's everyone who decides for himself. A copywriter is not 100 dollars to please everyone. And not Ksenia Sobchak, to annoy everyone. I saw terrible examples of copywriting, in my opinion - but they found their fans. And vice versa. In general, see for yourself, try, believe and you will succeed. After all, copywriting is not so difficult.
