Crafts with children: a bat made of paper

Origami is one of the most interesting activities with children. It is simple and safe, which allows you to take the folding of paper figures even the smallest children. To make origami figurines, only paper is needed. Sometimes you may need scissors, glue, paints or markers. All but paper is used if desired.

Where to begin?

Hand-crafted bat of paper is considered the simplest figure, and it is worth starting to master the art of origami. Manufacturing it does not take much time, and the child will not get tired. The bat of paper looks pretty cute and cute, it also attracts the kid, as well as the speed of making the figure. In fact, there are a lot of options for assembling. Some mice impress the imagination with realism and complexity of execution. The mouse described below is much simpler than the rest.

A bat made of paper (origami, recall, involves the use of this particular material) is performed using:

• Two-sided colored paper is black or dark brown in color.
• White paints or markers.
• Glue PVA.
• Scissors.

The presence in the list of glue and scissors speaks about the ease of crafting, because in the present origami they are not used. Paints and markers can be used if desired. The finished product is already self-sufficient.

Step 1

The bat of paper is done in a few simple steps, the first of which is the need to obtain a square sheet of paper. In order to make a square from a rectangle, it is necessary to bend one corner of the paper diagonally. In this case, the edges of the paper must coincide.

It turned out a trapezoid, in which one part - in two layers of paper, and the other - into one. The single-layer part should be cut exactly along the edge of the two-layer part, then unfold the finished square. Sometimes the paper is sold in the form of a square. The size should be at least 16 x 16 cm, otherwise the mouse will turn out to be very small.

Step 2

Before assembling the mouse, the necessary fold lines are outlined. The square must be folded diagonally in one and the other side of itself. The sheet is folded into four equal triangles by folds, and a diagonal cross on the entire surface will be seen on the square sheet. After that, the square is bent one at a time and unbends. On the planned folds it is necessary to fold a double triangle. A bat made of paper is made up on the basis of this triangle.

The corners of the triangle, which is in front, bend from itself, exactly to the middle. In the front you will get a small diamond. This will be the body of the bat. The remaining triangle is divided into head and wings.

Step 3

Now you need to turn the whole figure over. On the unbent triangle cuts are made in the form of small round ears. In the finished work they will stand upright. On the line drawn between the mouse's ears, it is necessary to bend the upper corner of the triangle away from itself. Again turn over the work of the animal's body to himself.

The bent small triangle with the ears is the muzzle of a bat. It must be glued to the body, otherwise it is bent. On a muzzle with a white paint or a felt-tip pen it is necessary to draw eyes, a nose and a mouth.

A bat of paper is ready.
