Choose: a children's raincoat or an umbrella?
In rainy autumn days, taking a child from a kindergarten and thinking about whether or not it will rain, I do not want to take an umbrella with me. After all, it is cumbersome, uncomfortable, and not always placed in a bag and is the object that is most often lost. In order not to wet your child, a child's raincoat comes to the rescue.
The plus of a raincoat is that it is easily wiped off and dries quickly enough. An active child does not need an umbrella, because he likes to walk so that his hands are free, and to jump over puddles without an umbrella is more convenient. Children's raincoat takes up little space, parents can easily take it with them for a walk, if necessary, such a thing can be carefully rolled up. On this advantage of such protection from the rain is not exhausted. A small child can hardly hold a heavy umbrella (even a small way) in the hands, especially if the journey to the destination takes a long time. Raindrops fall from the edge of the umbrella, because of this clothes can get wet. If there is a downpour in the street, then this problem is exacerbated, since there will not be a significant difference, except that only the head of the child will remain dry. In such cases, a children's raincoat with a hood, completely covering the child from the weather, will have to come in handy.
Let us dwell on the types of children's raincoats. On cut they happen different: raincoat-overalls, a raincoat-poncho, raincoat-raincoat, raincoat-jacket. All of them can have a hood that will protect the head and face of the child from the weather. Cloak will become an assistant for active, mobile children. It is ideal for the senior preschooler or junior high school student. The jacket is often combined with waterproof trousers. Such clothes are more suitable for boys. Overalls are comfortable for girls. Both the jackets and the overalls have sleeves formed with an elastic band that does not allow the inner layer of clothing to get wet. A children's raincoat-poncho is suitable for a quiet walk, it has a free cut.
Children's raincoats are usually in bright colors, they often feature favorite cartoon characters. For boys fit Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, cars.
A children's raincoat can be made from a variety of materials. For example, from nylon without a lining or with a thin cotton lining. True, it will not save him from heavy rain. Raincoat made of PVC has a soft polyester lining. After walking, it is enough to wipe such a product with a damp cloth and dry it. Products from the membrane and rubberized fabric do not absorb water, they are practical and durable.
Depending on the season, there are differences when purchasing a children's raincoat. For the summer it is advisable to buy non-lining nylon or rubberized products. For spring and autumn season, raincoats from waterproof materials with fleece, cotton, polyester liner will do.
It should be remembered that certain requirements are imposed on children's raincoats: they should not constrain movements, the fabric should be chosen non-rigid, waterproof, the seams should be not simply stitched, but sealed (in PVC models) or glued (in membrane and nylon fabrics) . For example, a raincoat for children "Kidorable" (made in Russia) meets all these requirements. Moreover, these products are bright, interesting and will not leave indifferent any child.
