Catfish: tips on how to cook and marinate fish

For preparation especially valuable individuals, as the meat of large fish is more rigid and fat. "It melts in your mouth" - this is how you can most accurately characterize the taste characteristics of any dish made of dent, whether it be an ear, cutlets or a shish kebab. For the preparation of many of them, it is customary to marinate fish: in saline solution before frying or in spices and lemon juice for obtaining a cold acute snack. The original recipe - a shish kebab from a catfish

This is the most delicious dish from all fish. Try to cook it at least once, and you will not be disappointed by choosing catfish instead of pork or lamb. When you pickle fish, it is better to give up vinegar and use lemon juice, but in a reasonable amount, since the taste can vary greatly from its acid.

Required products:

- fillet of catfish;

- Bulgarian pepper;

- Red onion;

- Dried basil;

- garlic;

- red ground pepper;

- salt;

- lemons;

- Seasonings for fish ;

- olive oil;

- Wooden skewers.

1. Cut the catfish fillets into pieces of medium size, so that it is convenient to thread on the skewers.

2. Peel and cut the red onion and bell pepper approximately in size of the cooked pieces of fillet.

3. Mix fish and vegetables with seasonings, chopped garlic, olive oil and salt. Allow to stand for 10-15 minutes. in a refrigerator.

4. Squeeze the juice of 1-2 lemons and pour the fillets with vegetables. Marinate fish is necessary for 25-30 minutes.

5. Soak in advance, for 15-20 minutes. Before the start of cooking, skewers in warm water.

6. Prepare shish kebabs for frying. To do this, string the mashed fillet onto the skewers, alternating the fish and vegetables.

7. Spread the foil on a baking tray, then lay fish with vegetables on it. Lightly sprinkle with olive oil.

8. Place the dish in a preheated oven for 250 degrees. After 25-30 minutes the fish is ready.

Garnish can be mashed potatoes or boiled spaghetti.

Fried catfish

This dish can be considered more simple to prepare, in comparison with a shish kebab, but it does not yield much taste qualities.

You will need: catfish, chopped portions, salt and spices for marinating, flour for breading and vegetable oil for frying.

Prepare a solution where you will pickle fish before frying. Spices and salt (2 tablespoons), dilute in water (1 liter), place the fish in it for 30-40 minutes. Then flip the colander to full glass water. In a frying pan in warmed-up oil fry from both sides pieces of fish, pre-packed with flour.
