Cargo 300: what is it? It's trouble, but not sorrow. This is the hope of life
In everyday life, the words from military terminology are densely included. Previously, it was impossible to imagine that in the news release from the TV screen there will be terms that without a dictionary and additional explanations from the side will become clear even to the child. The words "stretching" and "unloading", "cargo 300" and "two hundredth" no longer need to be interpreted from the side.
Why is the cargo 300? History of the Term
When did people first use expressions that are understandable today for any person? Where did the name "cargo 300" come from, what is hidden behind these figures? The first mention of the "two-hundredth" and "three-hundredth" dates back to the time of the war in Afghanistan, and these designations were used actively by special services and the military in operational negotiations. They were also used by pilots to notify the controllers on the ground about the number of wounded and killed carried on board.
When the accompanying documentation for the transportation of a wounded warrior from the war zone was being drawn up, the form of the corresponding form at number 300 was filled.
Cargo 300: what does it mean today?
The wars in Afghanistan, Chechnya, and eastern Ukraine forced ordinary people to understand the encoded designations of special services and saved the need to decipher the terms that were available only to a narrow circle of people. No one asks the question: "Cargo 300 - what is it?", After hearing these words in a news release on television and radio.
Another rationale for this name is the method of delivering a seriously wounded soldier who is transported on stretchers, accompanied by two medical personnel with life support equipment. Conditionally, such a weight is considered equal to 300 kg (the weight of a wounded one hundred kilograms plus two health workers - conditionally two hundred kilograms). Based on the rules of freight transport, the terms "cargo 200" and "cargo 300" are used to indicate the numbers of transport waybills. It is possible to transport these goods with or without escort. For delivery, a different type of transport is used: an airplane, a train or a car.
One of the variants of interpretation is the conventional designation of the weight of 300 kg for rail transportation of the body of the deceased in a coffin with a zinc liner sealed in a special way and delivered to the burial place.
What other cargo numbers are there?
The standard form adopted for transport No. 200 means the transport of a corpse, and the blank at number 300 is provided for the transport of a wounded person. Strange as it may seem, military jargon introduces various terms into our lexicon.
"Zelenka" means a forest belt, any green plantations that can become a shelter for the enemy. Coding of cargoes besides "two-hundredth" and "three-hundredth" is becoming known:
- 100 - is defined as the transportation of ammunition;
- 700 is the transportation of money and wealth;
- 800 is a special secret cargo that contains radiochemical ammunition and substances.
"Dvuhsotilsya" means broke (with reference to the subject) or died, perished (meaning a person).
What is behind the use of this term today
Cargo 300 - what is the modern understanding? Modern interpretation and use of the term no one is no longer shocked. The world is coarsening, behind the numbers denoting the weight of 300, someone's pain, a crippled body and an injured soul are hiding. When listening to news, the news bulletin about the "three hundredth" and "two hundredth" does not cut the ears. And with the designation of the numbers of losses in the war zone, the person, the citizen, is depersonalized, after which no one practically takes into account the personality and fate of the wounded. Society begins to get used to cruelty, war, losses.
