In 2011, the new Opel Zafira Tourer was introduced to motorists. Since the late 90's, when he took the leading place among the sold cars of similar brands, the designers introduced and implemented some modifications that made this minivan more spacious and functional, but did not affect the price. Therefore for family people this car still remains the most accessible.

So, what surprised the fans with the new Opel Zafira? The characteristics of this car, as always, do not leave even the slightest chance for the critics.

The dimensions of the minivan were changed. At first glance, 19 cm with a total length of 465.8 cm could not significantly affect the capacity, but it was thanks to them that the wheelbase was expanded, the capacity of the trunk was increased and the space for rear seat passengers was increased.

The visibility of the Opel Zafira Tourer, as always, remains at the level: now it is available not only for the driver (inspection of intersections), but also for passengers: the front part of the ceiling shifts, giving the opportunity to contemplate panoramic views.

Added several items for more convenience. Ahead there were two additional capacious boxes, where documents, napkins, gloves and other necessary trifles would fit easily. Next to the checkpoint there is a lockable casket for the mobile phone. The armrest placed on the door is adjustable, there are additional openings for glasses with drinks. The new model Opel Zafira Tourer slightly modified the rear seat, which is now divided into three parts, with the average slightly smaller than the side, which creates some inconvenience. When only two passengers are accommodated, the middle seat is transformed into a comfortable soft armrest, while the side seats simply move back. Back, as in the previous model, you can install at the right angle. There are also disadvantages: there are no tables and coasters on the back of the front seats. The third row of seats is not particularly comfortable, suitable only for short journeys. For its decomposition in this model there is no need to land passengers.

Constant distinctive feature of Opel Zafira Tourer - special fastening for bicycles. It is clear that this model car without it was not. Moreover, the fastening can withstand a weight of about 80 kg, and this is 4 bicycles. The rear door opens without removing it. Although this has its drawbacks: there is no room for a spare.

Despite this versatility and spaciousness, it is envisaged to transport 7 people together with the driver, or transport a bulky or bulky cargo in the Opel Zafira car. The characteristics of the car provide one of two, since the third seat is, in fact, in the trunk. Therefore, if the third row of seats is complicated, there is also enough space on the floor, which was not found with the attached bicycles. The total volume of the trunk of the minivan is 1860 hp.

You can not ignore other, not less useful, features of the Opel Zafira Tourer, which, of course, will help both motorists-beginners and seasoned drivers. This, for example, is a system that controls the impact on the dividing line. When the wheel is in contact with a colored roadway without a working indicator, it reproduces a warning sound signal. With the correct overtaking it does not work. Unfortunately, the built-in system that recognizes road signs on our routes does not always work correctly. It should be noted separately the work of the navigator, which is included in the standard equipment. With the test drive in Germany, he coped well with his tasks. How it will work on Russian roads is still unknown.
