Cakes from corn flour

Corn flour is considered very useful. This is a wonderful remedy for anemia. It stimulates intestinal peristalsis and bile secretion, and possesses diuretic qualities.

You can also make tortillas from corn flour. You will need:

- 175 g of corn flour,

- 200 g flour of wheat flour,

- a teaspoon of salt,

- 400 grams of ham,

- one egg,

- 2 tomatoes,

- a spoonful of cream,

Cakes from corn flour can also be made using the following, very simple recipe. Take:

- 4 cups of corn flour,

- 2.5 cups of hot water (not boiling water),

- half a spoonful of salt.

Mix the flour together with the salt in a bowl. Add water and knead well until a soft ball is obtained. Knead until the dough is elastic and smooth. If you bake pancakes at once, then you need to divide the dough into 18 identical parts and cover with a damp towel or film. If you bake the cakes later, wrap the dough in a film and place it in the fridge.

To form tortillas from cornmeal, place the dough portion in the layers of the film. Roll out the rolling pin into a round shape cake with a diameter of approximately 15-17 cm. Repeat this procedure with all the dough pieces.

Cast iron heavy frying pan should be very warmed up, almost to the haze. With cakes, remove the film and put it on a frying pan. Reduce the heat to medium and fry half a minute. Then the cake should be turned over and continue to cook another minute. Turn over and cook again until the cake is slightly swollen, but it will still be soft, it's about 30 seconds. Then cakes from corn flour should be removed from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining dough.

No less tasty and cakes of rye flour. You should take:

- 125 grams of margarine or butter,

- two tablespoons of honey,

- a teaspoon of soda,

- 3 or 4 glasses of rye flour,

- The egg.

The flour should be mixed with soda. Oil the softening and grinding with flour (a small amount). Add the egg, carefully grind, then add the honey and grind again. Gradually add the flour. The dough should be tight enough to make cakes from it.

Now the dough needs to be rolled in a bundle, divided into equal pieces, from them to make flat cakes and put on a baking sheet. They are baked for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees to full availability, which is determined by a wooden stick. Ready cakes should be put in an enameled dry pan, cover and let them cool slightly.

Also, we advise you to prepare tortillas from rice flour. You will need:

- a spoon of vegetable oil,

- a glass of warm water,

- rice flour (that the dough was like a pancake),

- 200 g of cheese,

- clove of garlic,

- a half-pint of cilantro,

- a pinch of hot pepper,

- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise,

- slices of tomatoes.

Mix all the ingredients for the dough and set aside. We make the filling: grate the cheese, squeeze garlic into it, cut the coriander, put pepper, add mayonnaise. The filling is ready.

Now you should grease the frying pan with vegetable oil and pour the dough on it in batches. Bake oven to ruddy on both sides. In toasted flat cakes wrap the prepared stuffing. There are better them at once, hot. Delicacy, fingers lick!
