In order to obtain pure alcohol, it is first necessary to produce a special raw alcohol or moonshine. And how to get moonshine? It is created by fermenting sugar with yeast. Although this is only one option. Preparation of brew from sugar is the simplest solution at home.

So, we begin. Dry yeast should be diluted in cold water. This should be done in a large capacity, because the yeast must be completely filled, and more space will be needed for the remaining components. In general, braga made from sugar is done quite quickly, if you know the right proportions of ingredients. Thus, remember that for one packet of ordinary yeast a capacity of at least two liters is taken. Otherwise, you will not be able to stir the braga itself, and everything can overflow. The most convenient utensils for such purposes is a basin. So, dry yeast is flooded with water. Mix everything thoroughly and allow the mixture to infuse. Yeast should swell well. Fill the fermenter with water and add sugar. Keep track of it, if not even immediately dissolved, at least not laying a thick layer on the bottom. Braga of sugar, of course, is based on it, but in the end it should not spoil the very machinery of production. Check the yeast. If it is ready, it should be poured into a fermenter. That's all. It remains only to wait.

Keep in mind that five kilos of granulated sugar should account for about one hundred grams of dry yeast. As for water, it should not be icy, but hot also does not fit. It takes something average. Dip your hand in the water. If it gently envelops the palm and is almost not felt, then it has an ideal temperature. You can use simple tap water, but we strongly recommend that you first pass it through a special filter. Pay special attention to water quality, if you are aware that in your area it leaves much to be desired. In general, now any water contains a huge amount of chlorine. Chlorine, of course, is not part of the brew, so if you have time, put the water to stand for two days. The fermentation tank may be filled up to the top, as the formation of foam is very unlikely (unless you have saved on yeast). If the foam does appear, do not panic. There is a very original method of eliminating such a problem. Buy the simplest cookies and crush a bit right into the wandering mixture. In theory, the foam should disappear. According to this recipe you can make about six liters of moonshine, and the concentration of alcohol in it will exceed forty percent.
