Body polishing. Instructions
A well-groomed and clean car looks much more attractive and richer than dirty and neglected. One of the most vulnerable places in the car is her body. It is the body that is the most important part, and is most exposed to various influences. And to achieve an external ideal state with just one washing is difficult. Because still on the surface of the car there are scratches and microcracks.
Polishing car body can carry in itself as a function of giving aesthetic appearance, and protects the paint from the effects of the environment. Namely, from such factors destroying the internal and external surface of the car, such as snow, rain, sand, road dust and dirt, and so on. From this, over time, small cracks and scratches may appear on the car's body, as well as a "spiderweb" of many of the same scratches. If moisture and other chemical compounds enter the damaged areas, corrosion of the metal can occur and, as a consequence, this will lead to serious damages to the body.
Therefore, to save your car, you come to the aid of polishing the bodywork. How is it performed?
The choice of this or that kind of polishing of the car depends on in what form and condition the paint and varnish covering of the body. In addition, the definition of an option affects the purpose of polishing: either you want to protect the surface of the body, or restore.
Therefore, the following types of polishing are distinguished: restorative, protective and complex.
Protective polishing of the body is used to protect the paint from mechanical and chemical influences of the environment, such as sunlight, rain, road dust and sand, salt, alkali and so on. This procedure helps restore shine and cleanliness of the outer layer of paint. It consists in applying a layer of wax or silicone coating (also can be used as a coating for liquid glass) on the body surface.
The restoring polishing of the body is different from the protective one. It is necessary in those cases when the paint layer already has any defects: abrasion of the paint, scratches, "spider web", cracks. If these defects are not strongly expressed, then soft restoring polishing can be used, if it is sufficiently bright, then abrasive polishing is used. The procedure of restoring polishing smooths out any irregularities and roughness that appear on the surface of the body during the operation of the car.
