Batch switch, switch and switch - assignment and description

Electric switches and switches have been widely used in a variety of electrical equipment. They have a different purpose and the following parameters:

1. Rated current.
2. Number of poles: 1, 2, 3, 4.
3. The presence of discontinuous contacts: with them and without.

The necessary cut-off speed is ensured (regardless of the speed of the operator's movements) by the following design decision: not only the main knives of the disconnect device are installed, but also additional ones that are called momentary or discontinuous. This constructive trick is necessary to protect the main knives from the negative influence of the electric arc. Nevertheless, there are many examples where this is not enough. In this case, a special design arrester is used. A knife switch with this feature, as well as a set of torque knives, consists of the following structural elements:

1. Movable and fixed contacts.
2. Momentary knife.
3. Release spring.
4. Hinge stand.

Batch switches are used along with switches for shorting and opening of electrical circuits. The design is a set of identical packages, having the form of rings with built-in fixed contacts.

The batch switch traditionally has the following classification:

1. On the load capacity.
2. According to the rated current.
3. With respect to the tripping current.
4. By the switching ability.

In turn, all of the above has a sufficient influence on the circuit on which the packet switch is turned on. However, not only these parameters determine the design that the packet switch has. For example, the number of fixed and movable contacts of this device has a great influence on its type.

The batch switch has a body consisting of several insulating rings, a movable knife contact, a stationary contact, a tetrahedral insulated roller, a fiber plate, and a handle and mechanism that connects it and the roller to a single structure. This allows for almost instantaneous opening and closing of the contacts. In addition, on the movable contact, the previously described fiber plates are mounted, thanks to which the arc is extinguished quickly and efficiently.

Switches are necessary for switching low-power receivers, as well as for switching control circuits. The devices consist of movable and fixed contacts, an insulating strip and a partition, flexible contact connection, a roller and cam washers.

The batch switch can be used for various purposes in control, lighting and alarm systems. In addition, it is used for switching and switching short-circuited power circuits.

The first number displays the number of poles, the second - the value of the rated current, the third - the number of directions of electrical circuits.
