Butakov's furnace: features
It only seems that there is a long time ago in the past when the premises were heated with coal or wood. A significant part of the population of Russia and Ukraine is still deprived of the opportunity to benefit from the benefits of blue fuel - natural gas.
And if there is a demand, then the offer will not take long. Now the industry offers a fundamentally new type of solid fuel heating appliances - the furnace of Professor Butakov, and alternative solutions based on the principles of gas generation (slow combustion). Their use can significantly reduce fuel consumption. According to the developers, some models can warm the air in the room during the day only on two tabs.
Today we will talk about what Professor Butakov's furnace is. She really deserves special attention. If only because Butakov's stove looks rather neat, in comparison with the same Breneran, and models with a glass door give a special charm: the dance of fire reflections on the walls, the thermal radiation - there is not enough dog, rocking chair and plaid.
Butakov's stove
The development and creation of this model is a merit of the domestic industry. Due to the increased number of convection tubes, as well as their rational integration into the design of the device, it is possible to obtain an increased value of heat transfer from each unit of the heating surface. This is a definite plus. In addition, Butakova's furnace provides for the withdrawal of a branch pipe for connection of a flue gas pipe on the upper side of the housing. This allows the condensate (tar, aromatic resins) to heat up and drain back into the furnace, completely burning up at the same time.
Thus, Butakov's furnace is devoid of one of the main drawbacks of various "Bullerians" and "Brenarans" - the flow of condensate from the collecting vessel from the back side. Also worth noting is another feature of the stoves of this brand - the availability of a replaceable grate.
disadvantages
However, such a solution has a drawback - the complexity of cleaning. To access the inner walls of the pipe, you have to climb onto the roof and perform maintenance from the top. And if the diverting system is executed with turns, it considerably complicates all. In principle, some install the oven itself on a special pedestal, which can be easily lowered if necessary, thereby opening the pipes in the room.
The internal pipe system assumes their location in the furnace itself (fuel flame), in theory this increases the heat transfer efficiency. However, there is one notable drawback: the walls of the furnace itself get very hot, considering the metal case, you have to carefully observe the rules for using such a device (for example, a brick oven can be left without attention, without worrying about fire safety).
