In 2008, a new, improved statute of the PPP was introduced. Order 80, dated January 29, 2008, approved a new version of the main document. It concerns the functioning of patrol and guard services.

The statute of the PPS defines the basic rules of service, designed to protect public order. The purpose of the patrol service is:

- to stand up for the protection of the rights, freedoms, health and life of all citizens;

- protect the interests of the state, society and the individual, as well as various types of property.

All these functions are specially created orders to stop illegal or criminal actions.

The statute of the PPP is a guide for all employees within the WD bodies system , at the time when they assist in the implementation of the patrol service, and also implement measures aimed at suppressing the crime.

The main units contributing to the fulfillment of the task aimed at the protection of public order:

- drill;

- service of road patrols;

- non-departmental security, which is part of the system of VD bodies.

Formations created by public organizations are also called for to protect citizens .

The purpose of combat units is to combat crime and ensure public safety in transport facilities and on the street. Service DPS and extra-departmental protection, in parallel with the performance of the functions assigned to it, is also obliged to monitor the order in the zones adjacent to its posts or routes of movement.

The statute of the PPP describes the types of outfits that are created within the patrol-guard services. They include:

- Patrols;

- patrol groups;

- Posts;

- accompanying outfits;

- points of control and passes;

- barriers;

- reserves, etc.

The statute of the PPS regulates the exercise of patrol service in uniforms of the established pattern. Special tasks can be an exception. At their decision, employees can be dressed in civilian clothes.

The performance of official duties should begin with a briefing, and end with a team. A continuous patrol time is assigned for four hours. This limit should not be exceeded. If there is a complex operational situation, an enhanced version of the patrol can be introduced.

The statute of the Police PPP provides for the use of various means during the execution of official duties. These include:

- motor transport;

- systems of wire and radio communication;

- firearms and service weapons, as well as special equipment and equipment;

- various technical means;

- animals that are official.

In order to successfully accomplish this task, the patrol duty station must continuously interact between outfits and public units, as well as other units related to internal affairs bodies. For this you need:

- promptly bring the operational situation to the DPU;

- develop coordinated action plans;

- put specific general and individual tasks for patrols;

- hold joint briefings;

- implement common activities;

- Summarize the work.

The Charter of the PPP noted that the most important element, which serves to strengthen discipline in the performance of the assigned task, as well as ensuring a constant high activity of the personnel, is control over the carrying and organization of the patrol service patrol. It is made by periodic inspection of orders.

To assess the state of public law and order, as well as to determine the degree of combating crimes, the results of the work of the patrol services are recorded. This event allows you to instill a sense of individual responsibility for each employee for solving the questions posed to him.
