And since art is absolutely multifaceted and manifests itself even in everyday situations, contact with it leaves an imperishable and amazing power effect. In particular, artists in their works want to translate their spiritual needs into beauty. In these conditions, plastic art is in some way a store of energy of the creator. The creators of paintings that have become the heritage of the whole of mankind, in fact, perpetuate their own sensations and the expectation of sacred enlightenment. The most obvious proof of this is virtually all the art of antiquity. Ancient Greek and Roman heritage - in fact unique masterpieces, which are not subject to any modifications in the future. The masterpieces of the temples and sculptures of those times are absolute, and to this day they are an unattainable peak in the art world.
In all ages and with all rulers, art remained a measure that determines the degree of progress of culture in principle. Moreover - an indicator of the well-being of citizens in terms of healthy inclinations to high, beautiful, despite the various disasters and suffering. It always fulfilled the role of the educator of hearts. Because the beautiful and the everlasting actually created and inculcated the most useful and necessary moral manifestations.
The new time meant the formation of new trends in world culture. Realism, Baroque, Sentimentalism, Romanticism, Classicism, Rococo are all the artistic styles erupted by that era. Already some names give a rather definite description of the extremely intense, contradictory and diverse life of art of that period. By itself, unlike the culture of the Middle Ages, the New Time in art was brought by humanism and the concentration on the nature of the soul. To a certain extent, the diversity of cultural phenomena of that time brings this epoch closer to the modern era. Here the tendency of a rational approach from the point of view of human capabilities determines the main feature of modern art. Especially explicit orientation is the belief in the rational beginning of all beginnings. Important lines in the culture are human capabilities, the mind and essence of human nature, religious laws, traditions are already an assistant in development, although significant enough. Creativity and independence of choice are clear characteristics of the era of modern times in art.
The work of art in the Middle Ages is saturated with a special spirituality, though very emphatic. Great creations of those times gave a base and, conditionally speaking, raw materials for further formation and transition to the next stages of the world's progress. Medieval art spawned new styles, images that were the product of this gloomy and religious era. This, by the way, had its own specific mission in the creation of all subsequent styles in art.
